Aida Restaurant is one of the popular restaurants in kazhakootam. The place is fully air conditioned👍 Quality of food is very good👍 Staff is very friendly There are times when you've to reserve a table. The place gets crowded in evening and you may have to wait. Place is located on the main road and is easily noticeable from normal traffic👍

This place has one of the best shawai in trivandrum. We went here at around 8:30-9:00 p.m and was pretty crowded at that time. They have got good service. And all kind of dishes in their menu. Their Arabic cuisine is one of a kind. We tried their hot and sour chicken soup, but it was too spicy much spicy for me. They have infamous mandi which is said to be absolutely delicious. We tried chicken shawai, and it did not have that masala overdosed taste like in normal Arabic restaurants here in kerala. The meat was juicy, tender and soft. It doesn't have too much greasy oil on it as well. You can actually pull off the bones without much effort that how tenderly cooked it is. The size of the chicken is small, as compared to other restaurants. We ordered paneer dragon, which was something different to try. It tasted like dragon chicken, without chicken. The paneer pieces were big chunks and the dish was more than enough for two people. The fresh juices here is so pure. The Mango juice is a point on! It was absolutely delicious.. The service here is also good. In spite of the heavy rush, they manage to bring in the ordered food without much delay. This place is a must try for people who crave for some good Arabic food.
