Good ambience. The staff are admirable with their eagerness to attend to each and every need of the customers. The menu is limited but the food they serve is delicious. Very impressed about everything of this restaurant. I will visit again, and sure will recommend to others.

Went for lunch. We were a group of 5. Place is new but was deserted. I believe the crowd comes for dinner. First to the pros: Food was delicious. We ordered an assorted array of dishes and all of them (except porotta) was delicious. Beef curry, beef perattu and vellayappam was excellent. Serving time was quick Friendly staff Clean washrooms and clean seating area To the cons: No parking. I mean absolutely no parking due to close proximity to the road. We had to park some distance away. The restaurant is tiny. Just 4 tables, each can seat 4. Our group of 5 had to sit really uncomfortably. No vegetarian options. Vegetarians should avoid this place. One of the staff was way too friendly to the point of affecting our dining experience. I know, this is not really a big con, but just a suggestion so that the staff can give some space to the customers.

Visited there after 11 PM to try beef which is always a weakness to me and my better half. But was let down by the counter boy that they are closed for the day. So poor me was sad and was starting to leave. That’s when the owner herself showed up and invited us to be seated. Ordered beef chathachathu and vellayappam. While they were getting ready we had soup and some dessert on the house. Both were really good. Beef chathachathu is beef crushed with garlic. Somewhat like the idiyirachi but that beef is not dried I believe. It has perfect blend of spices and tastes delicious. Another good beef joint added to my list in TVM.

The lovely folks at Siji's Pizza Street have taken the plunge into another cuisine they excel at – Onattukara beef specialties. For those who don’t know, Onattukara refers to the Kayamkulam / Mavelikkara region, where the Siji’s family originates. Siji’s Buff Street, as the new venture is named, brings to Trivandrum their unique family recipes involving one of Kerala’s favourite ingredient – beef! And so, on to the food! Now, I know their specialty is beef, but they do have an Onattukara special vegetable soup that is so filling and flavourful, you’ll find it hard to stop until you’ve cleared the bowl. A sample is served to each customer instead of a welcome “drink”, and it’s the perfect way to start your meal. Coming to the beef dishes, the ones you should not miss are the beef kurma, beef fry and the beef curry. The beef kurma is easily the standout dish, and goes perfectly with their special rice. Here’s a tip – mix in some beef chathachathu to this, and you’ve got yourself a luscious combo. The spicy beef curry and beef fry go perfectly with the flaky parotta. This parotta deserves a special mention – it was just the right amount of crispy and flaky on the outside, and soft on the inside. I was so full from the soup, the rice and all the beef, but could not stop without finishing that parotta. After all this, you end your meal with Umicha’s ethakka pidi, a not-too-sweet-but-just-sweet-enough concoction of banana and rice dumplings. I did not get to try their chicken cutlet, parotta sandwich or murtabak, so will be visiting again soon for these. And a big bowl of soup, of course. #seenzintvm

The intricate details of the interior of this tiny place deserves a good appreciation, not to forget the ambient lighting! Tried Beef curry, Perattu, Appam, Porotta and lime tea- one of their combos. Beef Curry and Perattu are comparatively better than the peers at the same location(Nanthencode & YMR). On the other side, a few items like beef biriyani, beef kuruma & ethakka pidi wasn't available on a Sat Evening which was a turn off!
