Visited after lockdown and impressed, charcoal have best hygiene in city.. staff and service is very good and taste!! Amazing.. they have variety of dishes and all are best in taste.. and what a amazing view of pichola... and if u are a non vegetarian then this place is heaven for you..

Perfect sunset view and ambience. Awesome dishes served on expected time. And the owner of the place were too polite and cooperative. The staff was cooperative as we were little confused about what to order but they explained about the dishes and we were pleased to eat what they offered us... Especially loved the Chicken Chipotle and Chicken Taco.
Excellent food please try their western offerings, in traditional Rajasthani dishes please try Lal maas and safed Maas. The owners bring a personal touch in their interactions which make the experience even better. Best part is the view of dazzling lake Pichola in the evening when the reflections from the surroundings make it a dream come true. A perfect place for a candle light romantic dinner.
The ambience is perfect and so is the food quality and portion.Zomato Gold cannot be used on their Barbeque Items and a couple of other things.However it is worth a visit.Best is to go post sun down.
Went to get some relaxation as they offer one of the best if not the best Ambience in town. Loved the view, service is quick. Ordered Pot of Masala tea alongside Grilled Sandwich and waffles. Food was nice. Basically it's known for their Barbeque food which I will try for next time definitely.

We ordered Pork tacos, Lal Maas and Dal bati Churma. Pork tacos were fine, Lal Maas and Dal Bati was very good. Nice ambience. Service was very slow. Took them one hour to serve us pork tacos. Overall a decent place.

Charcoal is a great place to spend your evening when you’re in Udaipur. The beautiful surroundings of Lake Pichola and the vistas of the city skyline are complemented by delectable food. They claim to serve authentic Mexican cuisine; although I’m not well-versed in authentic Mexican food I can assure you that the food is very tasty! I’m already looking forward to my next visit to the place.
Me and my friend didn’t like spicy and this was the perfect place where to eat something not spicy and really good. We went twice because it was really good, the rest of the food, the location everything was really good, they are just a bit slow regarding the service but apparently it’s common in India. Anyway if you are tired of Indian food and you want to something normal or not this is the right place
We ate here for lunch and then again for dinner the same day and had a great experience both times. Extensive menu of bbq/tex-mex/indian dishes - we had the paneer bbq platter, pineapple and paneer skewer, hummus mezze starter and fish tacos and were impressed with all of them. Lovely outdoor seating overlooking the lake for the evening and great service.

I can say the best evening of udaipur at Charcoal by Carlsson. Food was lip-smashing and the best part was information provided by owner Mr. Shakti singh and best service provided by Chandraprakash. The ambiance is amazing we saw the best part of udaipur from the Charcoal roof top. Really a heartwarming experience for us . Thank you Charcoal team 😊.

I went couple of times and tried the Lamb Souvlaki which is 10/10 and a lam curry too!

I also had the pleasure to meet Shakti, the owner, who is rightly very passionate and proud of his business.

Ridiculously amazing - as an Aussie this bbq stood up to my high standards then beat them. The view is 10/10 and the food is outstanding (we mainly ordered skewers) if you’re in to smoky, charcoal, spicy flavours from across the world.
5 on 5 for me.
Food was tremendous and reasonable.
Atmosphere was perfect with amazing view of pichola lake, went for IND vs NZ WC23.
Service was awesome and believe me the owner and his son were so down to earth people that they did not even showed us a little bit of attitude even in taking our order multiple times.

O my god this place is very nice . We just went casually but we had a best experience. We definitely give it more than 5 rating if we have a chance. The food is very delicious . I recommend to it to couples .the environment is too good. The servers are very friendly we became friends in just a time ....
