This is one of the best restaurants to have your dinner with an amazing lake side view, live music, romantic atmosphere, limited tables to serve you better. This restaurant is reasonably priced so you can enjoy your meal. They have parking for 2 wheelers so you wont find any difficulty and also, they have autos standing outside till 12ish so you fan enjoy your time here. HIGHLY SUGGESTED TO HAVE PRIOR BOOKING, as you might not find a LAKE VIEW table or even a table. we had their chicken, egg biryani and bith were nicely cooked. The staff was cooperative and they behaved in a decent manner. Suggest you to have your dinner here.

Since we stayed in Hotel Lake Pichola for 2 nights, our first evening was with Upre & second @ Ambrai. Hence I’m in a better state to answer honest feedback. 1. Upre provides a better feel & food. The view from the top is just mesmerising and seating is also done so well that all guests can equally enjoy this. 2. Food is just so amazing. We ordered veg & non veg both, both were fantabulous 3. Overall service or rather hospitality is an issue in Udaipur. Somehow I feel the staff feels it’s not too important to give guests an ever lasting experience by just smiling and ensuring that extra effort. Both place are at par in this case 4. Pricing is not too high but not too less as well. Experience comes with a cost and it was totally worth 5. Since they allow you in batches of 2 hours only, ours was 7-9pm and there was only songs played in the background which were great but no LIVE performance. But by 9 they had started with LIVE sitar and Tabla which looked great. I wish they had it during our time as well. On the contrary, Ambrai had latest Bollywood songs as LIVE which enhanced the whole ambience. Overall I will still prefer Upre over Ambrai.

5 star for all. The Food tried were extremely delicious. Visited Udaipur during the elections, staffs being off duty the service was bit slow yet the food was on table right in 5 minutes are waiting.

Beautiful view. The food is decent. The prices are very affordable for the view it has. The dhungar maas is a speciality. The gulaab jamun with ice cream is so yum. Visit during sunset or dinner for the best ambience. There is usually waiting here, so better to book couple of days in advance. Especially during weekends.

The menu had potential, but the execution fell short of our expectations. The flavors were decent but lacked the innovation and finesse that one might anticipate in a setting of this caliber. Service Considerations: Service at Upre was polite but could benefit from improvement. The staff appeared to be understaffed, leading to delays in service. While the team was accommodating, a more efficient service approach would undoubtedly enhance the overall dining experience. Recommendations for Enhancement: Upre has the potential to become an unparalleled dining destination in Udaipur. Focusing on elevating the culinary offerings with more creative and well-executed dishes, along with refining the service efficiency, would undoubtedly enhance the overall experience for patrons. Conclusion: In conclusion, Upre Udaipur is a place of extraordinary beauty with breathtaking views that leave an indelible impression. While the food and service were not on par with the stunning surroundings, there is significant potential for improvement.
