Simply amazing. Wonderful place. Very well maintained by the Trust. Battery operated Car is there to climb up to the palace entrance. You have got Boating in the lake, about one hour.....they take you to another small Island, there you can spend some time, take pics and return back to mainland by some other boat. Altogether different experience, thoroughly enjoyed. Well maintained washrooms are also there.

A great place to visit and needs 2-3 hours to complete the visit. Well maintained place and clean. The trust and the King must spend some time to get this organized as they own the place. The EV transportation is messed up and chaos this must be corrected. Hope the trust and King takes note of this. The palace is well known and soaked in history. The fees to visit the fort varies for local and international tourists. This is a common practice in many places. Hope this can be corrected sooner than later. There is an abundance of wealth and history showcased here. Part of the palace is also an hotel. Part of the palace is still used as official residence as well.

I visited it on Eve of Christmas it was so much crowded. Please avoid to visit on public holiday if you don't want to explore this majestic palace with crowd, ticket prices are slightly higher. Best part of this visit is take a boat ride to jagmandir palace and you will have a gorgeous view of palace as well nearby hotels .

We went on Christmas weekend so there was a big rush and we could not have enough time to enjoy the beauty of it. Really makes you think how much creativity the artists had back then to create such a masterpiece. The antique shops, leather shops, silver jewelry shops near the vicinity are also nice for shopping. Reserve a day to check out everything. I tried but my pics are not doing proper justice.

Nice visit of the palace, sometimes a bit crowded on the rooms. Nice views for pictures. The boat trip tour to the island is a total disaster in waiting time, up to 2hrs! No food or drink in sight and little shade. Obviously not enough boats...

The best palace I have ever visited. The cleanliness and maintenance is the best part. It's really as huge as it looks in the image. So have your stamina full. The museum and art gallery is impressive as it's developed and managed by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Must visit if you're going to Udaipur. Entry ticket fees are 30 ₹ To visit the palace museum you have to pay, 400 ₹for adults 150 ₹for students

- The palace is visually appealing but overly commercial. - The road leading to the palace is narrow and crowded, especially during peak seasons. It's advisable to use local transport like auto-rickshaws or E-rickshaws instead of your vehicle. - Uber autos tend to be twice as expensive as cabs for this route. - Entrance to the palace costs ₹50 per person, while the museum entry is ₹450 per person. - Boat rides to Jagmandir Palace cost ₹800 per person (or ₹600 per person between 10 am - 3 pm). Visiting Crystal Palace is ₹400 per person. - An electric golf cart to the top is available for ₹50 per person. - Guides charge ₹500 per person, and audio guides are free but only available until 3 pm. - The palace itself is vast, requiring around 2 hours to explore fully. Overall a nice place but money for everything. Don't forget to carry your own water bottle or else a single 1 liter water bottle will cost you 60rs . A couple of restaurants are available if you want to have something during this place visit and a lot of street food stalls are available outside the palace for a very reasonable price. In the top, ticket counter they will accept only cash so don't forget to carry cash or else you will end up wasting a lot of time looking for the ticket counter which will accept UPI/ card payment.

Looks are very nice. Ticket for entry is ₹300 per person. There is a different ticket line inside for the Boating in Pichola Lake. The battery car till the City palace will cost ₹50 per person. Inside you can click pics but not allowed inside the palace once you enter where the pics and sculptures are there.

Entry ticket fees are 30 ₹ To visit the palace museum you have to pay, 400 ₹for adults 150 ₹for students (they'll verify your I'd card prior) The City Palace is a splendid historical landmark located in the heart of the city. It's a testament to the grandeur of the past, showcasing stunning architecture, exquisite art, and captivating history. A must-visit for anyone interested in the rich heritage and culture of the region.
