Exceptional taste, we ordered Paneer Angara Smokey...Go for it if you love spicy flavor, superb presentation, delicious taste and generous quantity...Must try their Lassi, very refreshing...Overall value for money...Good joint with family or friends...
The food was excellent, very authentic punjabi food, it tingled my tastebuds, I would recommend Dal Makhni it was the best and so was soya chaap. The dessert were above par. One of my favorite restaurants in Baroda...
Food was very good. Need more training for service staffs , lack of upselling and suggesting.

Great new restaurant. Butter Chicken and Kofta curry were really good and the best in city. Jay, our server was really friendly and gave us great recommendations. I am glad that we have a new Indian place with good food and reasonable prices!

Writing this after tasting approximately all premium restaurants in town, the best paneer veggies. Must try is paneer angara smoky. Flavours are unique, unmatched and always the same. Portion is good enough for two good eater. Paneer is always fresh and tender. Seasoned well not too spicy nor blend. Go for it.
Just today I visited this place in vadodara on O.P.Road named The Dhabba restaurant.. I was very delighted to eat there as it was a special occasion for our family. The food, ambiance, staff, time to serve, kindness of staff all sums up for a beautiful experience of dining...!!

Ordered from here while at a stay in Gujarat. The service was fair. Decent prices and great menu options to select from. Quantity of a single paratha platter was fulfilling enough for 1 or 2.
Ordered chur chur mixed paratha platter. Taste was satisfying and the paratha came fresh and warm, along with pindi chole, dal makhani , raita and butter.

Was here tonight for dinner with family, the food was really good- kulchas, daal makhni, chole were really good. There are very few authentic Punjabi restaurants in the city, The Dhaba is certainly up there when it comes to providing the customers with a Punjabi experience. Had Jalebi for dessert - crispy, served hot with mouth watering taste- could not have asked for more. The ambience is also great.
Starters were the only let down and hence I would give the place 4 🌟
Very nice restaurant for dinner. You can celebrate birthday party here. Very nice atmosphere. Live music also available. You can pay via UPI. THE DHABA is according Punjabi culture. Paintings are available on wall. You can enjoy Punjabi dishes. The vessels are also Punjabi style. Parking space available.

Well this is one of the best place in Vadodara with great interiors and ambiance. Very well thought of the execution for restaurant, they have various types of seats like sofa, chairs, desi floor seating etc.
Food menu also has lots of variety and cuisine options to choose from, but the best is their Indian Cuisine especially the Punjabi (One of the best). They have maintained a very good hygiene and quality standards with awesome taste.
Staffs are courteous and friendly. Live songs are played to uplift the moods while enjoying the food.
The interior theme is towards old era type and a lots of quotes posted on walls for couples, so must visit for couples and family.
I visited on Sunday and experienced a bit slow service although it was worth a wait. And the overall dining space a bit small and feels little bit congested. Else all good and must visit restaurant.

This place is situated near the Jagdish store (Even I was not able to identify it through GMap). The restaurant is on the way towards the Chakli/Bird circle.
1st of all, Good amount of parking for 2whlr & 4whlr! I visited on Monday and was expecting less crowds! We immediately got the seat (8 pax).
One thing to mind is that it's a Pure Panjabi Veg restaurant (No Chinese item will be served). Food was decent and price are on upper side (I left it same as Mirch masala).

The atmosphere inside the restaurant is good. It's neat n clean. The staff is attentive but can do better. There was live music and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The food wasn't hot . The Kebab platter was ok in taste, not great. Also tried out the onion garlic cheese kulcha, which was served along with Chana masala , Dal Makhani n Raita. The methi garlic paneer kulcha, too, was tasty with sufficient stuffing. It was served with the same Accompaniments. We had their Jammun spicy lemonade, which was something new n ok in taste , sweet Lassi and limbu soda ,which I clearly instructed for very less salt inspite of that, salt was on the higher side . I would recommend this place to friends n family.

Being a first time visitor I had an awesome experience at this place. I ate Paratha and Biryani and both were very delicious. The service is good. We were entertained with live music. Definitely going here again.

@the_dhaba_vadodara is my absolute favorite when it comes to Indian cuisine, why? Because everything!! And my recent visit there just cemented my belief!! Now, they have revamped their interior a bit, and the live music adds to the ambiance. @the_dhaba_vadodara 's strongest aspect is their non-compromising food; you get all the goodness (albeit heavy, so go there prepared!)
Starting with... Of course starters, we tried Paneer Peri Peri Tikka, Soya Stick, and Schezwan Deep fried momos. Now I can really describe everything how they do it, but... Space issues here.. So let's just go with the taste. Peri Peri tikka are seriously well flavored and hot; the right amount of heat makes it appetizing and adds a vibrant start. Soya is prepared in-house with their own techniques and has its own unique taste and flavor, too good! Momos, while they've become popular, they are known for their peculiar crisp and spicy sauce.
After that, we were greeted with Chur Chur Paratha platter, which is a must try, like for real, just do it. Dal Makhni will melt you away (I need to jog kilometers; I know it). While Paratha is great, Daal steals the limelight.
In main course, we tried some fantastic sabzis, Birbal ki Handi, Soya Chap kadhai, and Tawa paneer along with more Dal!! Let me tell you, it was so confusing and overwhelming for us to decide which one tastes better.. And we failed. So just know that all of these are really well made.
Now comes the bomb, Matka Biryani, balanced spices and flavors, not too weak to make it bland, not too spiced to make you feel in hell, just enough so you can sail through the sea of flavors! Yes!
I'm not going to describe desserts; just look at them!! And I promise you they taste better than you're thinking right now.
In the end, what I love about @the_dhaba_vadodara is their enthusiasm and passion for their craft, the way they describe their food and the joy they exhibit makes the experience well worth it, this communication definitely adds a value to the experience and while I'm all praise I want all of you to visit at least once and try by yourself, you will absolutely love here and will be visiting again, that's for sure, atleast I am!!
They have the proper taste of Punjabi food as compare to any other restaurant in vadodara.
And another thing is that i perform live music there, so i had dine there often, you must visit there if you want authentic punjabi food, rather than normal punjabi food & also they have swaminarayan food . Enjoy food and live music together ✌🏻🙏
