When i wanted to try mandi in vijayawada i look out for the best place to have mandi and thanks to google for showing me barkasa as a first option and i am so happy with the food mandi along with starters .. must try mixed mandi and fish starter

This traditional arabic dish, consisting mainly of cottage cheese(paneer) and biriyani rice with a special blend of spices is a must try for all vegans at Barkaas. The traditional arabian tandoori chicken biriyani is the most opted and favourite mandi of the people who come here. With Kheer setting it's bench mark here,it leaves you craving for more of it.

This place has served me one of the finest Mandi I ever had. The food was awesome, it looks beautiful and so is the taste. The place is also well maintained. The location and the lighting is charming At some places we can find worn-out Sofa sets, it shall be renewed now and then. It was always too busy and we have to wait a while to get our chance. The hand-wash area is too congested and small that people cannot go in and out easily through that door. We had this Arabian Special Fish for which I was looking forward to visit again. I will definitely recommend this place place if one wants to try Arabian cuisine in the city

The best part of the restaurant is the seating area. You are supposed to sit on the seating area created on the floor. Though they also have a table chair kind of seating, but seating on the ground and sharing a meal is a different experience. Other unique part is that the way they serve. The meal is served in large thalis and the whole family can share the meal/ eat together. We tried the vegetarian and non-vegetarion options are they were decent. The fish appetizer was nice. Overall a decent experience. Happy eating!!!!
