They have been maintaining quality since decades and have the same level of hospitality and courtesy. The food is tasty, ambience is always good. The price is worth the time and food.
Interior - Its been recently renovated & the sitting area has huge with 1st floor also. The structure has been same for more than 30+ years for this resturant
Food - This place serves pure vegetarian food as as such pure veg options in the city are very limited. They are one of the oldest hotel in city with almost 50+ year in the same place. They are famous for their tiffins/breakfast n you can try everything over here and wont be disappointed at all, they serve one of the longest single dosa of almost 4 feet long. Also their veg andhra meals is famous from many years for the quality & quantity (1 meals is sufficient for the family of 3-4 people). You should definitely the meals here and wont be disappointed at all

Amazing taste and courteous staff. Breakfast at Daspalla is so many levels better than many of my recent experiences. In the day and age when the menus boast of varieties but fail to deliver, places like Daspalla stand up with simple but delicious fare. Thanks for sticking to basics!!
After having a little bad experience in dakshin hesitatingly without any option we came here. But for the surprise thali was amazing and staff were courteous.
Great place for South Indian tiffin's. Try the idli and onion rava dosa. Also, their veg thali and veg biryani are good. Given them a try and you will come back for more..
Been here for lunch. Ordered veg thali. It's a traditional fare with all the basics. Grape juice and pan are given as complementary. Overall good.

It was excellent before. Now a days it’s not up to the mark. I like to see this restaurant improvement. Today it’s bad experience . But my previous visits were awesome. But yes they always try to satisfy the customers before leaving with complimentary etc

Since childhood when we were in Visakhapatnam, it was one of our frequently visited restaurants.
As we went to Visakhapatnam to attend a family function for one day from hyderabad, we just don't want to miss visiting this restaurant.
While heading to the airport, we went there just to have filter coffee, which is just WoW. The taste n aroma is just simply flavourful.
The restaurant needs an upgradation as it looks a little bit old and gloomy.
The service is fast as before, and the staff are cordial. But the hygiene n neatness of the table cleaning n all needs some immediate attention.
We even want to pack their famous rasmalai in their sweet counter, honey dew. But, they advised packing to have a spillage for the long distance. So I couldn't take that, but the taste is just mouth watering n very yummy.
Love Daspalla! Reputation and quality has been consistent for the last 15+ years.
Had a fulfilling vegetarian thali for lunch. Very filling and exquisite taste. A bit spicy for those who care for a milder taste. However, for indian food and for the local folk it’s perfect.
Great food choices, poori, kaju korma, desserts, samovar etc.

Dharani restaurant is part of Daspalla hotel which is very famous 4 star hotel of Vizag. This place is famous for vegitarian food and specially the Dharani Special thali . The place was quite crowded when I visited but the manager has given me a beeping device which started to beep once my table was ready. Food was tasty and was presented well. The prices were not much expensive. Thali was unlimited with very good taste. The ambience is ok and sitting was comfortable. Overall this place comes recommended for thali lovers is south Indian style.

As a kid it was Daspalla Executive Food Court, Vizag I was crazy about & use to wait eagerly for my Dad to drives us all the way 20kms on his Chetak every alternate weekend..
The fish tank below the stairs.. The comic book stall beside the lobby.. One of the waiter who use to serve me little food on thali plate just for me with no charge (it was when I am small and never use to eat a lot but still wanted my food to be served in a Thali plate).. My first lift experience.. playing with fellow kids and lot more ..
I frequently visit this place and there breakfast items especially poori, pongal, ravva dosa & thali are amazing .Not to forget there coffee which is absolute bliss for coffee lovers.

Best veg restaurant in Visakhapatnam and butter naan with paneer butter masala just tastes heaven here must try in here. Daspalla has been serving since many years and retains one of the the best vegetarian restaurants in visakhapatnam. Be it meals or tiffins or rotis /naans with curry it has served the best.
I think a 4.25 is the best score to this restaurant. Got to visit this place with my mom, atta and mavayya on 8th Aug. We ordered ourselves two veg thalis and main course special with ice cream. The veg thali was just ok and there was nothing new or special to talk about. The main course meal was good as the tandoori naan was buttery and soft. Secondly the pulav was nice, the green vegetables curry was well cooked and sufficient too. The paneer curry was good. But the sprouts was a big let down.
The grape juice with the thali was really good and it was the only stand out for me. The ice cream and brownie was good but I felt it was missing something. There's a scope for improvement.
Food was good..south Indian thali esp was good enough..there is one more choice for special option which could have few additions as soup, fruit salad/icecream.however service is delayed to an extent on agreeable side
The restaurant has maintained its standards for the last 35 years that I’ve been coming here off and on. The tastiest idlies besides other dishes served with smiles and patience.
Same old hospitality,taste of food. Nice place to sit and chat. Friendly staff. I saw families like 40-50+plus aged people occupied many corners.
It seems middle aged people opting for reliable hotel with standard taste at reasonable prices.
We were served pan at the end of the meal. Taken digital feedback regarding food and service.

The place serves awesome food and desserts. My favorite place for eating out in Vizag. The seating can be improved though as it is more like fast food joint.
The place gets crowded on weekends and there is always the wait time. That speaks for the quality of food served here.
