Discovered this lovely place while surfing the Internet and was immediately drawn to all the cute backgrounds it had!
On day 1, I was craving Indian food, so I ordered “butter chicken with butter garlic naan” – and yummmmm, it was so so so tasty! I also ordered “pahadi tikka” for starters, which, funny enough, came after we finished our main course.
The second day, I wanted to try something different, so I went for continental cuisine. Ordered “square pizza”, and it was absolutely yum, and “white sauce chicken pasta”, so creamy and cheesy!
Again, the sad part is that both dishes arrived together, leaving me with the option to eat one cold. Remembering the first-day experience, this time I got a bit pissed and told the staff that yesterday I adjusted but not today. They were nice enough, so reheated the dishes, and served them when we asked for it.
Also, met the property owner on the last day, and got to say that she was a total cutie! ❤️
Despite the timing issue with the dishes, over all it was a delightful experience. Just a heads up, it's a fine dining place, so expect a bill of around 2-2.5k for two people.
Kiki's is a wonderful cafe at Alibaug (Mandwa side) . We had our breakfast here. It was the perfect beginning to our day. The open air breakfast location is just perfect in the morning sun. Good food and excellent service makes this place a must visit. I will definitely visit again if I am in that region.
This restaurant operates out of a charming Villa which is a 25 minutes drive from Mandwa Jetty. The whole veranda and garden of the villa has been turned into seating area where you will find nice chairs and tables under the trees. Since it's the middle of summer when we visited, they had put up air coolers which makes sitting outside pleasant. We reached at 8 am and they promptly took orders and served us. Taste of food served was quite good though choice of dishes could have been more. Ambience is really great. Though there is a swimming pool, it is not operational.
