Here it is , i hve been to alibaug (Nagaon Beach ) for stay trips , one days return trips and everything . But , i have never missed to stop at this point and place called mahesh lunch home . This place is specialised in sea food and specially very much famous for their fabulous taste for pomfret fry fishes and surmai fry fishes . They serve fresh sea water fishes in no time and also. One can opt for their fish thali which comes with unlimited rice and prawn fish curry .
I would suggest all to pay a visit and enjoy and make more memories at with some tasty food.

If you are at Nagaon beach and haven't tasted the food from Mahesh Lunch Home, it's not possible.Each nonveg thali is the best here. Rice and Rassa are unlimited here for thali for each person. They allow two people to eat in one thali. But, at that time, an unlimited portion becomes limited. Soalkadhi is beat over here. Prawns, Pomfret, Surmai, chicken evenrthign is best here.
Good Malvani dish are served here
Limited menu is available but everything here is good even Veg food.
Vegetarian have only paneer & Sprouts in main course. Modak is famous here also Solkadi is must here. No punjabi or Chinese dish available here.
It's a bit confusing sing there are 3 mahesh lunch home and all of them brand themselves ast the old and original ones to add on all 3 of them share walls being right next to each others . Still have no clue which one was the original mahesh lunch home but i did visit the 1st one in line and to be honest the ambience is not impressive but taste wise the food is amazing i ate chicken thali and it was amazing i also tried some prawns fry now being malvani they were not that impressive
Price wise it's pretty affordable so yeah overall I'd say 4 stars
Its walking distance from nagaon beach. The speciality they serve is varied types of fish. The fish dishes are super tasty and fulfilling. The staff is very very cordial. They give you extra curry or solkadi free of cost. They ask you everytime if you need something. Loved the ambience and the food. A must visit for all... They also have a small parking place made available
Chicken thali is the best here. Rice and Rassa (gravy/curry) is unlimited here for thali. Fried prawns were also delicious. They serve one of the best Sol kadi in the region which is not to be missed when you visit this place.
It is a very simple looking restaurant, but looks can be deceiving. This place has THE MOST AMAZING SEAFOOD.😍 This is the Mahesh lunch home with a board that says first, old and original. We had a large family order for lunch and the staff were so nice to accommodate to our requests. We ordered alot of things like surmai, prawns, chicken and Pomfret thali and starters like prawns and bombil fry, and crab curry. The taste was amazing they even adjusted the spice for kids. And we were served very quickly and you can tell their seafood is fresh. I recommend trying the crab coz the curry is very savory and the crab meat has a very lovely sweet taste to contrast. This place is worth the distance travelled 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

I tried Mahesh lunch home near Nagaon beach. There are 2-3 outlets with the same name. I am reviewing Mahesh lunch home with Vaidehi cottage on its name plate. I tried pomfret fry chiken thali and Modak. Food was little but spicy but the it was super tasty. I found modak overrated. Solkadi is must try. I also tried dal fry and jeera rice here and the tast was good.
Overall i will rate this place 4.5/5
