Lovely clean place although we had steak pie with veg and mash excellent they do the best chips ever also cake and coffee awesome and bar well stocked
Great Fish and Chips and Pie and Chips, friendly place and reasonable prices. Will definitely go back to eat here.

Wow, what a find. It's a quiet place due to its location, but I am amazed. If it was located on the circle, it would be intolerable due to the inevitable influx of drunk foreigners. The 5 minutes walk to avoid this crowd by coming here pays dividends. The food is very tasty- I have eaten here for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast has about a page of options, and lunch has multiple.
Owners are very polite, and allow you to hang around for a long time. Prices are on the lower end of goa- expect to spend ~200-300 INR per meal (including drinks). The cuisine varies from English pub foods to Indian foods, but I stuck to English because it seems like it's what they do best. My friend had fish and chips and it was VERY good, better than any I've had at beach shacks.
This place is a must-go, especially if you're looking for a cool place to unwind.

Review 2023: Sadly, the place is closed. No more steak, no mor cider, was very disappointed to find out. Tashi's is now taken over by German Bakery and it is doing quite well.
Review 2019: This restaurant is a HUGE reason we keep coming back to North Goa every year. Our stay here was only for a day but so worth it. We called Tashi on Saturday to check if they are open at 9am. He asked us to come at 830.
We ordered our usual steaks with mashed potatoes and pepper sauce. There was a wait time of about 45 minutes during which we had a chilled cider instead of our morning cuppa joe. DELICIOUS. Do try their homemade cider.
The servers are so cheerful and polite. I love the yellow restaurant with red tables and the sports on theTV. Lovely.
Review 2018: Went back for more steak! Was not disappointed. The quantities are HUGE. Two of us could not finish two plates, so the next time round, we ordered just one plate of fish and chips and we still could not finish up! It's amazing, the food.
We went in at 9am asking if they serve steak because that's what I wanted and nowhere else in Calangute was offering anything other than a breakfast menu- it was off season. They not only said they had anything on the menu, the waiter offered to cook me anything I liked! Such a great start to the day!
Try the cider, looks like it's the only place in Goa that serves cider now.
Review 2017: Go Go Go!! Have the steak with mashed potatoes and enjoy! I've never had something so English for the past two years. Gosh, I am definitely going back again! Lovely people. Amazing taste!
