This is a great place situated just around Calangute Beach. It is very spacious and the staff is good and cordial.
The dishes that I had ordered were Paneer Tikka Masala, Veg Kolhapuri, Dal Khichdi, Veg Crispy and Paneer Chilli.
Out of these i would surely recommend both the starters, Veg crispy and paneer chilli, as both of them were truly delicious.
Veg Kolhapuri was not upto the mark. Even Dal Khichdi didn't live upto the expectations. So you should probably avoid these two dishes. As for Paneer Tikka Masala, it was quite good, worth a try.
Sagar was located just opposite our hotel and it was our go-to place for dinner!
Sagar is one busy restaurant on Calangute. Prices are moderate, we tried Chinese, north Indian and south Indian there and everything was nicely prepared. Their service is really quick.
I will highly recommend this if you are a vegetarian and looking to have a satisfying meal within budget
This is a nice place to have breakfast in Calangute. It’s near to the Calangute Beach. Their Service was quick. I tried Sambar Wada which was good in taste. Sambar was Sweet & Sour. I tried Poori Bhaji which was also good in taste. Bhaji was made from potatoes & Yellow Matar.
Sagar restaurant is just outside beach entrance. After morning walk at calangute beach, We decided to give try this restaurant as all in our group we're vegetarian. Taste wise food was good.
Ordered dishes : Cheese pavbhaji, Masala dosa, tomato onion uttapam, Paper dosa and tea.
Price : very reasonable.
Ambience : okayish
Food : excellent
My recommendation : tomato onion uttapam was one of the best uttapam I had till date.
Attitude of staff was not good.

It was a good afternoon and we had walked down the beach and were really hungry but wanted some desi food.
We had a plan in goa trip to eat north indian in the afternoon and try some different cuisines with drinks at night.
The place seemed perfect, we had to walk through the market, its on the main road.
Ordered dal tadka, panner, several breads including cheese naan, tomato soup and lassi.
Food was really good, service was quick. We had a view as its on the 1st floor.
It was so good that we were over loaded with food. A good beach walk is recommended ;)
When you in Goa and you eat only veg Food please do visit Sagar Pure Veg at CALANGUTE, Goa. Good place to eat South Indian, Chinese, punjabi cuisine. Value for money.

This is very good veg family restaurant. And the taste is good as well and reasonable pricing. Average ambience but good food.
Taste: we took a soup which was below average so no for soup . Main course we ordered mushroom masala and kadhai paneer and roti. Mushroom Masala was very good and kadhai paneer was average. Roti were good and soft. A big yes from me. :)
It was my first day of Goa with my family and we want to do lunch, so we went to sagar hotel. It was spacious hotel n there was too much crowd. We ordered our food and they managed to give food as far as possible. They maintained good servicing. The taste of the food was awesome. So , who are spicy lover it is best place to visit..!! Please go to this hotel with your friends/family whenever you visit to Goa❤💯
Here we had 2sabzis which were kadhai paneer and veg kolhapuri. To go along with it, we had butter naan, butter kulcha, butter rotis as per preferences. Here the food was very good, the service was also very quick and even the price Was justified. Overall great experience.

I had a breakfast at a large restaurant near Kalangote beach. I ordered idli, vada sambhar, masala dosa and ghee roast. As a South Indian, I prefer dosa or steamed dishes for breakfast. The vada was crispy and hot, the best part of the meal. The masala dosa was slightly sweet and the sambhar had a different flavor than what I am used to. But they were good. The restaurant had two floors and most of the seating was on the first floor. There was enough space for big groups. The staff was courteous and helpful. I think they serve good food.

Great veg food. Perfect place for veg lovers near Calangute beach. Their medu vadas are too cute and tasty. Also, had dosas, idlis and rice dishes. Tea also was good.
Food taste was average but we liked it much as we were hungry after beach Masti..good option for vegetarian meal.
This place is good, the food quality and taste was also good. Also service is also good. We ordered South Indian dishes like rawa onion masala dosa, cheese masala dosa, vada idli and also other items like dal khichdi, paneer masala and chole bhature.
