Last time I visited this place there was no proper walking pathway or ticketing or parking system and this was 10.years back. But recently it has been developed and maintained very nicely. Must visit for a sunset view. But nothing much inside the fort but can be part of a to do list. The drive to this place is pleasant and it's uphil. Walking is not recommended. Parking is 50 bucks for a bike and 30 bucks entry per person. Closes at 6PM sharp.

Must visit place: If you are visiting north goa it’s a go to place. This place has a wonderful sea view, restaurants and museums. It will take approx 2 hours + to enjoy this place. Place is well preserved and will give you amazing experience of 400 year old structure. There are proper audio recordings available inside the fort for 🆓. Parking space is available

Well maintained place. Nothing much to look but the main attraction is the sunset point. It's a large open area, so if you are planning to come for sunset, come around 5pm. Weekend will overcrowded but adjustable. One more thing book your tickets online it will save your time.

Aguada Fort in Goa is a historical marvel that offers a captivating glimpse into the region's past. Perched on the cliffs overlooking the Arabian Sea, the fort provides stunning panoramic views. The well-preserved architecture, including the iconic lighthouse, adds to the charm. Walking through the centuries-old walls feels like stepping back in time, and the cannons overlooking the sea evoke a sense of the fort's strategic importance. Aguada Fort is a must-visit for history buffs and anyone seeking a blend of cultural exploration and scenic beauty in the vibrant landscape of Goa.

One of the most visited places in Goa. We visited on an evening time and that was a perfect time to visit I think. Really loved the atmosphere at this place. It's a place of historic importance and the water storage in the centre of the fort is an amazing construction. Visited on 10.12.2023

Nice view of Arabian sea and greenery around. A must visit place while in Goa. The place is very pleasant and marvelous and scenic. One of the highlights of Aguada Fort is undoubtedly the breathtaking sunset it offers. As the sun slowly dips below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink, it creates a mesmerizing spectacle that is nothing short of magical. It's an ideal spot for couples seeking a romantic evening or photographers looking to capture nature's beauty at its finest. A nicely maintained fort + lighthouse that provides both different experience during summer and monsoon. During monsoon don't carry umbrella as winds are too strong to break it apart. Crowds can be expected during most of the days...but there is not much to see here as most of the underground gates are locked. The ticket counter people are quick.

Nice old Fort. Worth seeing if your staying in the area, not worth a huge drive. Neat walls with moat. Not really any artifacts around. Pretty good view. 300 Ruppees per foreign adult. Kids under 15 free. Drinking water free inside on filtered taps.

I recently visited Aguada Fort, and I must say it left a lasting impression on me. The first thing that struck me was how impeccably clean and beautiful the fort was. The pristine condition of this historical site added to its charm. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the mesmerizing sea view. The fort offers a stunning panoramic view of the sea, which is a sight to behold. However, it's worth noting that the popularity of this destination does make it a bit crowded, so be prepared for that. The journey to reach the fort is an adventure in itself. The scenic route leading up to Aguada Fort is nothing short of breathtaking, and I highly recommend capturing the moment with a few pictures. Spending time at Aguada Fort was a delight. It's not just a historical site; it's an experience. I found myself immersed in its history and beauty. It's safe to say that I fell in love with this place. Aguada Fort is undeniably a must-visit destination for anyone exploring the area.
