Visited this place 2 or 3 days before the lockdown. All in all a good decision. Loved their appam and chicken chettinnad! Bun paratha was so so..However, filter coffee was a rich mouthfeel!

2 of us went to Savya Rasa for dinner. The place has got a great ambience. It was not crowded, may be because it was a Monday.

They have got some great variety South Indian dishes. We were presented a Tablet that had the menu. Once you click the item there is a short video with description that actually helps. There is option to add the desired item to Short list. But there is no way to place an order directly. We have to read out or ask the person to place the order

We ordered Rava Fried Fish, Idiyappam, Mango Prawns Curry and Egg curry (forgot the name of the dish).

Food was served in 15 minutes. Good quality and quantity was good enough for 2. I didn't like the Mango Prawns much. It did have a Tangy taste

Overall a great dining experience. Another Fine Dine option at Gurgaon.

This is probably the best South Indian cuisine I had in North India. Finally not all dosa and idli, because South India got so much more to offer! Staff and service absolutely professional and lovely! Food is so amazing. We had mutton rasam, will probably have that every time i come here. Prawn starters, a fish curry with coconut gravy (forgot the name, sorry) loved all of it! Including dessert, badam halwa, very tasty not too sweet. And whoever is into cocktails, do try the South Indian twist ones. Can only recommend this place, great food, great service and people. Definitely coming back!

Savya Rasa is authentic South Indian food, beyond Idli & dosa. The Ghee Roast Chicken and Pudi Idly were delicious and fresh. The spicy gravy was packed with favour, appam was warm and soft. Overall, a perfect meal. Portions are also pretty decent.
Staff was friendly & polite, but twice we had to remind them that we had requested for extra chutney & pickle.
Definitely a must-try.

In this blog post, I cover Savya Rasa, a new fine dining South Indian restaurant in Ardee Mall, Gurugram. Want to take an epicurean journey through Southern India? If your answer is in the affirmative, head straight to the newly opened Ardee Mall in Gurugram and find your way to Savya Rasa, the first-of-its-kind fine dining restaurant that celebrates South Indian cuisine in all its glory. The only outlet, perhaps, where you get to taste authentic cuisines from major culinary regions of South India. Created with the intent of offering authentic South Indian fare on your plate through an exclusive fine dining experience, Savya Rasa tries to relook at traditional cuisines of Mangaluru, Mysuru, Nellore, Kongunadu, Chettinad, Nasrani, and Malabar. The restaurant does not stray too far from essential cooking methods yet manages to innovate through years of research and learnings from local cooks, chefs, grandmothers, and housewives. This has culminated in an elaborate menu with authentic dishes from seven regions of South India, each with its distinct cultural identity. What's remarkably well done is the use of flavorful, indigenous ingredients in every dish, cooked with an amazing eye to detail. Team Savya Rasa has traveled extensively across the aforesaid regions of South India and worked with locals to ensure that authenticity is never compromised. You'll be surprised how effectively the team has incorporated the cultural aspects and attributes into the dining experience to help you understand the heritage and history of modern-day South India. Let's admit it ... because of the stereotypes that exist in our country, for most people outside of Southern India, the quintessential South Indian food comprises only of Idli, Vada, Sambar, Dosa, etc. If you're more traveled and aware, you probably know a bit about Rasam, Appam, Puttu, or Kadala curry. The truth is - South Indian cuisine has all this and much more! Several regions within South India have unique histories that have influenced their culture as well as cuisine. Savya Rasa attempts to break out of the deep-rooted stereotypes to offer you a wide variety of delicacies carefully picked from South India. Savya Rasa's decor is a beautiful blend of the exquisiteness and vibrancy of different parts of Southern India, combining the cultural and artistic elements in equal measure. The carefully curated artifacts, architectural elements, and music accentuate your overall experience of the space. Savya Rasa is currently hosting a Coastal Food Festival at its premises from December 18, 2019, to January 15, 2020. Come, indulge in this unique effort that blends traditional South Indian cooking with an ambiance that pays homage to the glorious culture of the region.

What an amazing place. Went on Onam festival and tried the traditional thali (named Sadya). It was super amazing & tasty. On the top , the service has been fantastic too. We had a friend from Kerala , she said the taste is comparable with authentic Kerala festive meal & she liked it. It's located on 3rd floor inside Ardee Mall and has recently opened.

One of the best south Indian restaurant I've been to . The food was truly beautiful and extravagant, the taste was classic and the service was excellent. It's a hidden gem, Must go restaurant for not only south Indian food but Indian food in general. Only problem I can find is the menu's have no description of the dish. It could be a problem for someone with no background.

Savya Rasa is one of its kind in the city offering some authentic recipies of South. As you enter you will get the vibes of traditional south indian style interiors, dim light, attendants wearing south dhoti kurta. There are some distinct varieties of veg and non veg dishes and trust me you need some help to choose one. We tried Pineapple rasam, Pacha Masala Meen Fry,Kootu Curry, savyarasa bread basket. All had different flavours which i never had before. I liked their pickles full of flavours with right mix of spices. At the end we had filter kaapi served with 4 varieties of sugar. Wow!!! and at last complimentary Make your own paan. We all loved the paan with crunchy and soft fillings. Well portion size was gud but found little overprized esp breadbasket. Staff was courteous, quick and helpful. I don't know if they are serving real authentic recepies but deserves to be tried once.
