When I stopped by in evening I was amazed by the amazing hospitality and warmth by Ms. Deka the manager. Great, sweet and professional people like her who are Assamese increase my love and loyalty for Assam! Even though there wasn't anything vegan there for me, her honesty, hospitality and welcome is a big plus.
This cafe has probably got some of the best delicacies in that area. The ambience is amazing, as it it quite cozy. It is a great hangout place with friends and family and also for book lovers. Introvert people like me can go there and sit with a book and and a delicious meal. Some of the best dishes include chicken steamed momos, chicken sandwich and chicken thukpa.
All i can say is that all the dishes are prepared very well. The staff here is very polite and patient. What makes me coming back here are the tasty dishes and ofcourse the well behaved staff. Highly recommended.
Nice aroma of coffee and cool, cozy interior will greet you the moment you open the doors to enter the place. Never crowded, the place is best for catching up with your friends, family, or a date. Though it doesn't have own parking space, there's ample space for parking on the street.
Went for High tea. Beautiful ambience. Table tops are specially made, boxes of Indian masalas covered with glass. Books kept on shelves can be read while you take sip from a cup of delicious coffee. Can try tuna sandwich it is tasty. Big cups on shelves are attractive. You can get car parking space in road side. Normally good coffee with parking is very rare in Guwahati.
Lovely interior and setting with books lined up giving the vibe of an old western cafe. The tables have a unique decoration with spices and seeds kept under the glass surface. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. They serve free water which is a rare thing in cafes. Coming to the food, I opted for a chicken sandwich and a chicken dry fry and I assure you they were amazing. The chicken in the sandwich was ground and grilled so well that it felt like cream. The chicken dry fry was perfect too. The cafe is very quite and calm as it is not very showy and decorated and perhaps not many visit it. If you want a peaceful ambience with time to yourself, do visit there.
I like this place to sit quietly and enjoy talking or reading book. They have choice of different type of cakes and cutlet, chop and mini pizza etc along with different variety of hot and cold tea.

One of the oldest cafe in guwahati. Chicken sandwich is the best. No match to it. Chicken kiev is also worth a try however not sure if they still serve it
Loved the food ,ambience and service. So many memories, I have with this place.
Calm atmosphere, very chill & relaxed.
Also beverages are fulfilling.
My favourite would be the chicken sandwich. Most of the items shown in the menu have limited availability. Overall a good place if you want to have a nice cup of coffee.
