It is one of the oldest sweet shop in Chandmari area. It serves freshly prepared sweets and snacks round the clock. Perhaps that's the only reason this place is always crowded. Although they don't have proper dining space, this hardly have any influence on sweet-loving enthusiasts. I personally love the Jaggery Rasgulla (Gur Ka Rasgulla), which is soft, moist and quite big in size. You may also try the deep-fried samosas, served with jaggery flavoured sauce. Though this place isn't a big sweet shop like Govindam (Dispur), it has a rustic feeling of old times of Guwahati , which is priceless. So if you're in Chandmari area, you can try this place for a quick snack.

So here is the first review. Its in chandmari. I am a frequent visitor in their shop. It is a sweet shop. There is always a rush whenever I visit them. Their sweets have a great demand for their taste and quality. They have the finest quality sweets which are very much fresh. I have tried their rasmalai, gulab jamun,goja and I must admit each of them is very tasty and fresh. Their samosa is just awesome with the chutney.
The only con is that the shop is not so big and they donot have proper dining place, so there is always a rush.

Always overwhelmed with customers. The snacks and sweets available are tasty and fresh. No place to sit, one can only stand and take them. The only downpoint. The items are a little costly compared to other good local shops. Good thing they always provide change.

One of the oldest sweet corner of Chandmari, they always maintain a huge collection of Channa nd Dry Sweets items along with fresh Samosa nd Kachoris.. The quality that they are providing to the customers are good nd fresh.. They have a good stocks of snacks nd biscuits too, mostly people come for a quick bite or a packing for home/office.. I/we used to have Tea nd Samosa most of the time..
