Their chutneys are delisious. Ordered 70 mm dosa and South Indian Thali. Perfect taste and sweets. Chai was average but all other food was perfect. The service was very excellent, professional and friendly. Foreigner feedback
It was a Sunday afternoon as soon as we reached there our car was parked by a valet.
We were given a token number once we entered. We had to wait for not more than 10 minutes to get ourselves a seat on the first floor.
A pleasant ambience, with perfect temperature set on the air condition.
Soon, we ordered 70mm dosa, butter masala dosa, masala dosa and chhole bhature. Within 10 minutes, dishes were served at the table.
Every morsel of it was delicious😋.
While it's little expensive but its worth experiencing once.
We spent around 1300 Rs for what we ordered.
Overall, it was a nice place to be at with family and friends. 😍
Chutney, renowned for its authentic South Indian cuisine and delightful array of chutneys, lives up to its reputation. The coconut chutney stands out as a personal favorite, complementing the delicious Uthapam perfectly. The attentive service and pleasant ambience add to the overall dining experience. Moreover, the prices at Chutney are reasonable, offering great value for the flavorful dishes served. If you're craving authentic South Indian flavors and a variety of mouthwatering chutneys, Chutney is a must-visit destination.
Great Masala Dosa 8/10
Superb flavours of multiple chutneys
Excellent taste, The dosas with chutneys were excellent but the juices were average at best
Would definitely recommend someone who wants great Masala dosas.
The food here was delicious. It didn’t take long to be served or for the food to come out. Lots of food, in fact as per most places in India they serve you too much food!
We had a family dinner at this famous vegetarian restaurant located in the heart of Hitec City, opposite Shilparamam. The place gets really crowded and there was a 5 minute waiting time on a weekday around 8 PM, and the wait times could be 20-30 minutes on weekends.
We ordered Tomato Soup, Crispy Corn, Gobi 65 for starters. Soup was mildly sweet and tangy, Crispy corn was delicious but Gobi 65 was spicy. We then tried their South Indian cuisine for the 5 types of chutneys that they serve. We had Masala Dosa, Onion Rava Dosa, MLA Pesarattu, Poori- Masala and Ghee Karam Dosa. All the dosas and poori were hot and crispy, however the choice of chutneys could be better as there were peanut and Chana dal chutneys which were similar in texture and taste; and ginger-green chilly Chutney and ginger-jaggery chutneys which had almost identical flavours. The sweet coconut Chutney tasted nice on its own but could not be paired with any of the dishes as they did not have Idiyappam or Appam (which goes well) on their menu. Sambhar was better compared to the chutneys but it had a hint of sweetness. We ended our meal with butterscotch icecream which melted right on the bowl and filter coffee was strong and refreshing.
Considering the overcrowded, noisy, mediocre no-fancy ambience, the dishes were overpriced, especially the starters, North Indian and Chinese main course were almost Rs. 395 each and dosas were Rs. 200 to 220 each (plus tax).
Get good South Indian food here. Ambiance is nice. It’s a big restaurant with 3 floors. Prices are on bit higher side. Service is very very fast
When hungry, grab a idli.
Chutneys has always been my go to place whenever I crave for good karam idlis or crispy dosa. This was my first time to the Hi-tech city branch, although I have been to the jubilee hills branch quite a few times.
I went for lunch and thought of trying their South indian meal ( uploaded a picture of the same ) and it was really yum. Especially the poori in the meals is droll worthy. It's a complete meal served on a banana leaf in a plate with all types of curries, sambhar, rasam and of course chutneys. Needless to say it's both nutritious and delicious.
The service had been great and staff is very friendly.
Only complaint: The place is quite noisy and brash. I didn't really like the atmosphere here. Hence the 4 stars.
Amazing place where a South Indian food lover like me can probably go every day. No wonder it is full anytime of the day and has waiting during the evening hours.
Despite being a chain of restaurant, the food quality and its authenticity don't disappoint. The service is prompt and efficient and the variety of Southern Indian delicacies is really great. There are so many dishes and flavours to explore. Highly recommended!
