Unique dinner experience with a tour of the palace. Food was good overall but the biriyani was rather ordinary. Ambience and service was too notch.
Had an outstanding dining experience here. Extraordinary service by the staff. And the food was delicious and rich.
I've tried the Ghosht ka marg, Hari mirchi Ghosht, haleem, zafrani murg tikka, garlic naan, and their assorted desserts.
I'd rate all of them 5 star except for the soup, soup would be a 3.5.
This is not my first fine dining restaurant but this is definitely the best I've been to.
The staff was very humble, kept checking on us all the time.
I'd Definitely recommend dining here.
We opted for the set menu which was 5500+taxes per person. Free for kids below 5.
Good
1. Overall quality of the food served. All the meat was juicy and tender, esp mutton unlike typical Hyderabadi dry fare
2. Tomato shorba, wild berry sorbet, double ka meeta and the bloody delicious mutton curry were the highlights.
3. Service was great and attentive.
4. The decor was charming, grand and luxurious.
5. Palace tour was really exciting.
6. Picturesque , beautifully maintained palace.
Bad
1. Overdose of chicken and mutton items.
2. Menu was wanting for high quality seafood at that price.
3. Service should have been personal. I would have loved introductions to the items, the origin of the ingredients, chefs profile etc…
4. I wish we didn’t have to remind them to repeat a few items.
5. You would eat enough calories sufficient for a bear getting ready for hibernation.
Overall a wonderful, grand, luxurious experience but would avoid set menu and go for a la carte next time.
Best biryani in Hyderabad. Specially sarson ka phool and dakhni saag was very tasty .😋
Wow! We have taken the set menu, everything was perfect, excellent job, really worth to go anytime
The place has an unmatched grandeur
May be a touch expensive but one has to understand that the price is being paid for experiencing a slice of history and not merely the food.
Even the veg food which we ordered from the set menu was extremely delicious and almost every dish left a lasting impact on our taste buds
Is the experience worth the money?
Yes it is !!
You get the royal feeling of Nizams when you dine here in Adaa of Falaknuma.
Good hospitality.
Starters - 5/5
Haleem - 5/5
Do I have anything to complain about?
Yes ! Might sound hyderabadi but as a hyderabadi in the hyderabadi cuisine why don't you have hyderabadi deserts? For example - to name a few - Kaddhu ka kheer, Qubaani, Double ka meetha?
And Why can't we finish with Paan?
Incredible Indian food in a beautiful setting. You have the option of the main restaurant, private dining room or the Gol Bungalow (outdoor undercover).
The food is exceptional, all the Hyderabady famous foods plus southern and northern options. The staff do an excellent job of explaining food for foreigners.
An amazing experience.
I made a reservation at Adaa for my 2nd wedding anniversary and though costly, my wife and I had an experience of a lifetime. Apart from the covid precautions, special anniversary cake, the food quality and quantity served in set menu is excellent. This was my 4th visit to this place and the best one due to few people visiting. Lamb kebab served in appetiser were the best and dessert were very delicious. My wife was really impressed. Thank you Taj management for making the experience memorable.
We had wonderful experience at our 10th Anniversary. First we had a tour of Falaknuma palace and then we were served Royal Hyderabadi delicacies at Adaa. Phenomenal experience, must visit once in a year. Will be back soon...
