Very good food and good staf........,.................................................................
There are places which dish out good food, then there are places where the service might be better but the really good ones provide a perfect mix of both and in these uncertain times, Rayalseema Ruchulu almost fits the bill.
Went here today and were in a dilemma as to whether to order the thali or go for the table top buffet. Finally settled for the buffet and man oh man was it good! Fiery good I'll say.
They had paya shorba but we didn't want to have it hence they provided chicken sweet corn soup to start things of and served a total of five starters, all of them were toothsome. Be it the chicken manchurian, the fried chicken, the chicken vepudu, chilli paneer or the fish fritters, they were all good. The manchurian though was not boneless but that was not a real concern to me.
The main course had natu kodi pulusu, prawn curry, egg curry and another chicken based gravy, the name of which I cannot seem to remember now. They had butter naans and rotis along with them and chicken biriyani too. Each and every item was hot and spicy but in a good way and not like the ones laced with chilli powder with the sole intention to set your tongue and tummy on fire.
The desserts section had carrot halwa and bellam (jaggery) payasam. A good ending for the kind of meal we just finished. They gave us complimentary butter milk too. Special mention of the service here which was top notch. Mr. Jagannath and other members of the staff made sure that there was no stone left unturned and made us feel at ease. They are ensuring that proper sanitary and safety measures are followed with the staff wearing masks and gloves and sanitisers are kept on each and every table.
Now for a few pointers which need to be addressed:
(1) There was no menu for the buffet and when we asked, they said that there is none which was awkward as you need to know what you'd be paying for.
(2) Secondly, there were no vegetarian items provided, the only one was chilli paneer and that was we specifically asked for it. For some reason, the staff seemed reluctant to provide any veg items. When you opt for a buffet with non veg as a preference, you get both veg and non veg and that was the case when we had it in their jubilee hills branch but not here.
(3) In other restaurants we visited, the table adjacent to one sitting is marked out for the sake of social distancing but not here where all the tables seemed available. A family of 6 came and sat right adjacent to us. I wouldn't do that. They might not have the common sense but the staff could have ushered them to another table specially when the number of people in the restaurant was sparse. Need the above to be addressed.
Overall it was a good gastronomical experience and an epicurean delight. Next stop, I'll try the much famed thali here. One must definitely try out this place to relish authentic rayalseema cuisine and I'm pretty sure it'll be worth it.
It was a very good experience for us.
Excellent service by Mr. Bana Mali Das. He served us as though we were his guest at his home. Highly recommended !!
We visited the Rayalaseema Ruchulu (hitech city), witch is the most important is covid measure maintenance was excellent. We ordered Ragi sangati, naatu kodi pulusu, mutton vepudu and thali. The all food was yummy and presentation was excellent. There all staff are hygienic and friendly with customers. The ambiance also looking as per the restaurant cousin. I most recommend the place. We definitely visit again soon.. Thank you.
Excellent food!!! Thalis are so good. Real essence of Rayalseema. Staff is very friendly!! Must try. We had a great family time. 😻🖤
We had taken non veg thali and sea food thali., both the thalis are excellent and very very tasty. Must try ..
I visited this place on a Monday afternoon and it was quite occupied. We ordered for the thali and the taste was excellent. The portion size was good and they were very proactive in refilling. Special thanks to Jagannath for being so courteous and taking care of us so well. Recommend this place for a good sumptuous lunch. The safety precautions were rightly adopted and we felt safe dining with our 3 yr old lil one.
Loved the food as well as the receiving of the staff . Quality is always amazing . I always choose this restaurant
The food was really good and the stuff was very courteous.
Service was among one of the best. The place was very neat and clean with sanitizers on every table.
Must try!
Food was good courteous staff.. will definitely visit again. Food options were great and suggestions were great
The service was so well done… and taste was good!!! They have an unlimited veg thali refill which does not applicable for non veg… Had a great time there…
This place serves your order real quick to your table, has a loaded menu covering all telugu states. They are very good at bringing authenticity to the dish.
Spicy food from starters to main course to pulao, however you can try once. Great place for spicy lovers
One of the best places to taste authentic Andhra style food. The service was great especially our server Jagannath who went out of his way to show us how to eat the different items available in the thali. A must visit place if you are in Hyderabad
Flavourful food. This is popular for non vegetarian food but has decent veg options too. The food is slightly on the spicier side. Tried pepper mushroom for the starter. Ragi Sangati and vankayi koora(Brinjal curry) for main course. I love this combo from here. The nutty and spicy curry pairs well with the Ragi Sangati.
Tried Nannari Sherbet. I feel they can reduce the sugar syrup and bring out more of the nannari flavour, else it tastes too sweet. I wish they bring back fresh lime soda instead of the goli sodas !
After a very long drive we searched for South Indian thali and landed here. I personally felt veg thali is over priced.
Instead I ordered one veg(Jack fruit) and two nonveg (boneless, dum) chicken biriyani.
Quantity and test is good but a little more masala is there. May be it's a Rayalsheema way cooking.
The food was just amazing ❤️Must try thali and biryani
I recently had the opportunity to try a veg Andhra thali at a local restaurant and I must say, it was a delicious and fulfilling experience.
The thali consisted of multiple items, all of which were unique in flavors and preparation. The main components of the thali were rice, dal, and a variety of vegetable curries.
The rice was perfectly cooked and had a fluffy texture. It was served with a tangy tomato-based dal, which complemented the rice very well. The dal had a rich and creamy consistency and was seasoned perfectly with the right amount of spices.
The vegetable curries were the highlight of the thali. There were different curries made with various vegetables such as brinjal, okra, cauliflower, and potatoes. Each curry had its own distinct flavors and spices. The vegetables were cooked just right, retaining their natural flavors and textures. The curries were moderately spicy, which added a great kick to the overall dish.
Accompanying the curries were side dishes such as papad, pickle, and yogurt. The papad was crispy and had a nice roasted flavor. The pickle was tangy and added a burst of flavor to the thali. The yogurt was cool and refreshing, balancing out the spiciness of the curries.
To finish off the thali, there were desserts such as sweet rice and traditional Andhra sweets. The sweet rice had a subtle sweetness and a hint of cardamom flavor, making it a perfect end to the meal. The Andhra sweets were rich and indulgent, leaving a lingering sweet taste.
Overall, the veg Andhra thali was a complete culinary experience. The combination of different flavors, textures, and spices made it a truly satisfying meal. The generous portions and variety of dishes ensured that I left the restaurant feeling content and satisfied. If you're looking to experience the rich and diverse flavors of Andhra cuisine, I highly recommend trying the veg Andhra thali.
The food was very very tasty but a bit spicy. We had egg thali and ragi sangati. Very authentic South Indian food and good service.
Had the pleasure of visiting Rayalseema Ruchulu, hitec city, hyderabad. Needless to say, the food was spicy, living up to the original Andhra cuisine but being utterly delicious too.
Ragi sangati with naattu kozhi pulusu, non veg thaali all were delicious. We could hardly finish it even after taking our sweet time to savour it. They offer a variety of additional chutney 'podis' too..
Special mention to Mr Jaganath who waited our table and had the patience to explain every dish and the correct way to have it.
Overall had a satisfying lunch ❤
Been a visitor of RR for past 10 years especially the Ameerpet and Madhapur branches where I enjoy ragi Sangati and veg Thali.. I relish the rayalaseema flavours here makes me feel like I'm home.. service is good. They are quick and polite..
