One of the Old Traditional Udipi restaurant in the heart of Himayathnagar is this place. They still Maintain the old version with high ceiling, wooden chairs, 2 decade's old same staff. It's nostalgia when you go for a breakfast or lunch. Famous for.their Veg thalis, Dhai Wada, coffee.
One of the best vegetarian restaurants I haven't tried any time. I have missed a lot of yummy food till date. I have ordered kaju paneer and veg. Manchurian. No food colors added. Authentic and hygienic food ever tasted. Satisfied my taste buds!

So, we had ordered veg Manchurian and Baby corn as starters and both of them tasted perfect.
For the main course we ordered, kadai paneer and masala kulcha which is my favourite food here.
We even ordered Veg Biryani was amazing in taste.

This place has been my childhood place where we used to go in the weekends. It has best authentic Karnataka cuisine. My all time fav is the bisibele bath. Rich in veggies, ghee and it’s amazing when served hot.
Woodland has been a family favourite ever since it started. A second kitchen for us! Food has been consistently good over the last 20+ years. Very friendly staff. Love you, Woodland!
Only reason not giving 5 star is only because of roti.
Chinese starters, main course we're all excellent.
Taste was really good and was not like anything I ever had for that price point.
In the meanwhile butter naan were didn't meet my expectations. Taste of naan was also good,felt really fresh, but they felt chewy like rubber and were really heavy.so they kind of spoiled the main course.
Regarding home delivery:
Packing deserves 5 stars. You guys really took good care while packing and serving food.

When you talk about South Indian Breakfast or Thali/meals this is the place which is on top of my mind whenever i am around Himayatnagar....Been visiting this place for so many years & trust me the taste has never changed. They have maintained the consistance in food & service....Tried almost every item on their menu...My best picks from menu are Rava Dosa, Veg Thali, Dahi Wada & more....Food at this place never disappoints.

This review is purely based on online order from Zomato. So not describing about ambience or service.
Before this I never ordered meals from any place as I don't prefer having meals for delivery. But this time I tried ordering meals from this place and thanks to Zomato again for exclusive offer. I got the plate meals for just 60 which is priced around 125 when dined in. The package included 3 small pooris, dal, sambar, rasam,curd, 2 chutneys, 1 vegetable fry,mixed vegetable curry and papad.
The order reached me very late as there was some issue with delivery.
Coming to the taste all the items were really good and sufficient for a person. The portions were ample and more than enough for a single person. I can say it as full Value for money. Thanks to Zomato once again for the daily exclusive offers.

Our family restaurant from last 15 years. Really good and excellent taste. Even the service and food quality at its best. It is a restaurant to visit in this area.
Firstly taste was very good. Coconut rice and lemon rice was delicious and hygienic. Serving was good. Maintenance was nice. Interior is simple. Tea was nice. Prices are affordable. Nice location.

Great place for veggies.South Indian Thali is the best I had so far .You can get some fast food and Biryani's too.

My frequent hangout place with friends, it is the oldest restaurant in Himayath nagar and serves only veg food. The seating has both AC and Non AC section. Service here is good and on time, most of the time. Quality of food and taste is great because of which I visit here regularly. Highly recommended for delicious veg food.
Good food. Awesome service. Delightful staff. One of the best vegetarian restaurants in town. I would recommend people to try the Paneer Butter Masala made by these guys. I promise you - you would not be satisfied by any other Paneer curry ever again in any other hotel, not even a 5 star one.
