The only reason I have given this place a 4💛 is because the cakes and bakery items are the best. They are freshly baked each day and is of the best quality. There isn't much place to sit and hangout but it's perfect to pick your fav puffs or cake and move. You must try the Chocolate pastry you get there with the hard icing. I love the sponge cake slices as well. The dilkush is so yummy too. A must try.
Taken parcel of rich plum cake piece costs Rs.20, Japanese styled pastry which is having cake between biscuits looks like an macaroon costs Rs.10 and small pieces chocolate cake costs Rs.6 per piece..
I liked Rich plum cake which is of different taste and my cousins didn't liked it and seen some reviews now that it contains rum!!
Japanese styled pastry is good with biscuit crispy ness having cake between biscuits..
Small chocolate cake pieces are very tasty and my cousins liked them instantly.
350gms of Plum cake costs Rs.140 and taste is very good.
Having 3-4 tables to sit and a normal old bakery kind of ambience but smell of cake over the place tempts us to bough cake! ;-)

( Old 2000's style bakery place, clean and popular for their Plum cakes)
With a serious craving for plum cakes asked people on foodie forums for recommendations and I was directed to this place by a lot of patrons. Got to know about the specialty of this place and why it has so many loyal customers. That made me drive in the rains just to see what magic this place has to offer.
The place and experience:
As the name suggest it is a bakery with one half full of refreshments set up and one section for seating. A typical Bakery setup which was popular during the early 2000's. They were previously at a different place( a little ahead) and have moved to this place which is again on the main road.( Very convenient to locate!). The place is clean and the people at the store are more than happy to help.
Things tried:Tried the rich and regular plum cakes, sponge cake and picked up my Engineering favorite Cream Bun( Used to have it almost daily). The rich plum cake has rum in it and is usually served as small slices only. Priced at 90 Rs/- for 5 small slices. Tasted one at the store itself and it just made my drive to home even longer, came home and gobbled a few at home. Absolutely nomnomnom, this had almond cream( Marzipan) as topping. The regular plum cake does not have rum or any topping and is served in 300gm packs. Costed 120 Rs/-
Cream bun was absolutely feather light and I knew it would be awesome, fresh soft fluffy bun and fresh cream just makes me want to go back and have more of these. They are a rage during Christmas I hear and you got to order well in advance.
After me ordering, my friends from Little Flower junior college almost shed tears of joy hearing that name. Such was the connect to this place.
I'm very happy that they are maintaining the same standards. They do deliver in bulk for weddings too.
I'm a big fan of Plum cakes and might end up picking up one whenever I pass by that location :)in one sentence to sum up my experience, I was not just happy I was Euphoric!

Egg puff n Chicken burger is yummy n delicious.. They will any burger after order.. Not like other bakery they already prepared n stock ..Chicken burger yummy with crispy chicken pattie n generous amount cheese.. All the stuff are made fresh each day... Prices are reasonable n full value for money...
One of the best places to get freshly baked bread. A small place though good for money and service. The bearer is very sweet and prompt in asking and getting what you want.

This Bakery's customer service is out of the world. The bearer (Babu Rao) is a gem in the bakery. He will make sure you get the best out of this place. They are well stocked all the time. Food is always fresh and they do have these tiny chocolate dry pastries for 7 bucks I believe. They are just something to die for. the burgers and sandwiches are all made fresh as you order. Over all service is amazing and
Good food at good prices. Personal favorites are donuts, apple pie and chocolate truffle pastry/cake. Good to pick up stuff in a hurry, bakery being by the main road. Also good to hang out unless there's people waiting for a table. They have a strict eat-and-move policy since they have about 3 tables only.
Remember the bakery in hubsiguda which was very near the school. Sadly this went off in Road widening.
Now it's in front of the railway degree college. Still after the decades the menu is same along with the taste.Chicken cheese burger is good,fresh and perfectly spicy not stale like mcd.Some items are new and some have lost in the transition. There wasn't seating place before. Now the shop is bigger.

Cons: Sometimes the quality may not be good. Got pieces of egg shell in pastry
Love the crispy egg puffs come here often for the ribbon cake and love the choco tarts as well and i would say a descent bakery with good service

The cream bun was something I used to buy daily as a kid! And best part of the bakery is the chocolate brownie that instantly melt in the mouth! Eat one of these and you'll question why you pay 100 bucks for a chocolava cake :P

This bakery has been around for close to two decades now. The food served here is good, not heavy on oil like some places have it. The burgers are good and the chicken spring rolls are to die for. Apart from these the veg puffs and the cakes made are nice too. I come here quiet often to take the chicken spring rolls or the burgers when I have family and friends coming over to the house.
This place is known for its plum cakes which unfortunately is available only during the month of December. The owner here is so nice and polite and is the only shop in the whole city where, the owner says "thanks for coming, see ya next time. Take care and have a nice day". That's simply amazing

Hidden gem. Very old school type of bakery and one of the few places you get guava cheese and mango cheese. Their rum and wine soaked plum cakes are still the best in the business.
Ordered 2 hours before 5kg cake it was delivered on time and taste was very 👍
Although they have a limited bakery items, it's their speciality. Very fresh dry cakes & slices, love them. Even the packed ones like rose cooks are super fresh & yumm!

The management has a strict rule of productivity to its patrons . There used to be a signage that said no timepass. Been visiting for over 2 decades now . You need to tell more about you great cakes and puffs nelson.
One of the oldest bakery in tarnaka, it's been there for more than 35+ years now.. before it was across to petrol bunk near tarnaka Cross road... From 15 years they are across to railway degree college.. my favorite is dilkush, puffs(veg/egg/chicken, around 2 pm you might get hot puffs which are just baked) cookies are good too..
Best place to visit if you want to have plum cake during December. I really like their baked items here. They are fresh.
