This used to be one my favourite places during the college days.
The ambience is so peaceful. The building is surrounded with trees and give you a great outdoor seating experience.
They serve comfort food like lemon rice , chai , samosas , chicken gravy with roti and more.
The food is amazing in quality and quantity and the prices are highly affordable.
What an absolute beauty this place is. Used to come here for group studies. You can sit and spend time for hours together and get your work done or even just chill. It's a non profit organization so very cheap and affordable. Their samosas are a must try.

One of the best joints and one of a kind place in Hyderabad. Amazing food at such reasonable prices makes lamakaan a perfect joint to hangout, work or even meet new friends. This place is my absolute favourite.
They do organize cultural events and they are great too. Meeting new people, hanging out with friends, food and tea if you like all of these then Lamakaan is the place for you.

Such a cute cafe for really simple and yummy food at very affordable price. Anyone craving for simple homemade food can visit this place. This place is known for their tea, coffee and snacks. They also serve lunch and breakfast with different menu every single day.
My favourite here is the chicken curry, it’s basic, simple and delicious.
Ambiance here are not too fancy but pretty. They have both indoor and outdoor seating😋

Nice cafe. This is the place where regularly plays and music shows are organized. However since this is a very small space it gets too crowded. Also entry being free there are many who drop in just for the heck of it. However a great attraction of the place is its nice food which is dirt cheap. Quality is good and there is ample seating space. So many drop in just for the food. The Khati dal, samosa, egg curry is must try
Keema roti is very popular in Hyderabad, explored and tasted by every Hyderabadi. Lamkaan has a very good infrastructure and it is a self service. The place were you can relax and a reasonable place around Banjara Hills for tea and snacks. And events will be going on in this place. Overall it is excellent.
Had been eagerly waiting to visit this place after having heard a bucket full of reviews about its atmosphere that goes just awe at any time of the day & Lamakaan stood up to all those expectations, no doubt this place has my heart.
With the most economically priced menu, they serve authentic Hyderabadi food however my favourite happened to be samosa & chai.
So this place is done into three sections, the lower ground where usually the cultural & other literary events are hosted & the main area, over it a terrace that's totally blanketed with trees - soul satisfying.
Probably those who would love not-too-posh-but-close-to-soul places would go head over heels after visiting Lamakaan.
It has a got a different vibe.

It has been a hidden gem within Hyderabad city. Run by a family, this place actually gives a home vibes and food also tastes as home made food.
Went to attend a play here and happened to taste their amazing food. Do try their mutton dishes if you happen to visit.

Amazing quaint little non profit space that would definitely remind you of college days. It's an old residence converted into performing art centre, they also serve tea/ coffee or basic breakfast and lunch at very cheap prices. The aim is more towards bringing together art and culture within the space rather than focusing on the profits. Great place to just chill on a weekend/ weekday.

I visited for the workshop. You can attend many activities there ..you can check schedule on their website. Samosa chutney is great. Very different. Best place to hang out with group of friends and think of ideas n content creation too.
Peaceful, affordable place at Banjara Hills'. It was a pleasant surprise in this noisy, polluted city. The water, toilets, and charging options made it a complete experience. It was the perfect place to think, write, sketch, discuss, and start living our dream.

You can work out of here during the day. Ample tables and charging point inside the building. But during the lunch and dinner hour, the place gets crowded and one might get asked not to use it.
