Very good food. Timely delivery. Would request to include more fish items in the online ordering menu. The other branches of Amantran have more more fish items in the online ordering menu, this branch should also incorporate the same.
Very nice place to have Bengali cuisine in affordable price.Luchi alurdom, moghlai parota as starters are very good, followed by chicken kosha, mutton kosha, with steamed rice is really good combo .If you are a fish person go for panda, bhekti paturi,or fish fry everything taste good. For veggies you can settle for aloo Posto, alu bhaja and Dhoker dalna.Last but not the least try their sweets rosgolla, pantua
Timely delivery and good food
Its been five months I have been in Hyderabad. Being a bengali I was missing home and Bengali Cusin. So one of my friend referred me to Amantran . The food was good. Every month atleast once I do visite this place to taste little bit of home. The food is not very spicy it almost tastes like home made food. Yes, its true that all of the dishes which they offer are not available everyday. I have tried Alu Posto, Mutton Curry, Chicken Curry, Tangra Fish, Cara Pona Fish, Pabda fish, Katla fish. Well I personally liked them all and when ever any of my bengaly friends crave for bengali food I reffer to Amantran. They may not have the best service or the best interrior decor but the food is good which makes you overlook the other flaws .
The food is ok, if you're a bengali and happen to be nearby. The first time we ordered in, the bandhakopir torkari, daal and dimer jhol were pretty good and the amounts were more than sufficient.
The secon time we decided to go there, everything was fine until we ordered the fish, which was slightly ruined, but smelly fish for a bengali is a dealbreaker! I would suggest sticking with egg.
This is for Amantran, Domalguda outlet. Dont expect the ambiance angle or elite service decor over here. It will be an outright dejection in case you place equal weight to food and food sundries and visit this place. Given the pricing and options, food is real good. From echor to mocha to dhokar dalna to typical macher kalia and sorshe elish all rocks. So for a typical petuk (Foodie) having an inclination for bengali food, this is not worth a miss.
One of the good place when i miss bengali food or taste, it is very pocket friendly restaurant in 50bks also u can have full stomach food if u'l take Roti thali...
Other a la carte dishes are reasonable which will come under your budget, staffs are very responsive and cashier too but their some dishes are never available which i didn't like !! :)
This place for people who want some Bengali food in somajiguda.
Ambience is non existent but the mutton kosha makes up for it.
Reasonably priced, but not cheap.
Good rasogollas!
If you want to eat veg, the aaloo poshto and aaloo dum is okay but the dal is a little tangy.
Good place for bengali food. Ambience nothing to write about. Sheer availability of authentic bengali fish curries in hyderabad makes this place special.
Bhetki is a must try. Good sweets too.
All bengalis' like i think.i definitely liked the food .i felt after so long i ate bengali food .i generally a non-vegetarian person.but that day there i ate only veg food.Plain rice, doka dalna and jhuri aloovaja.
My friends took ruhi fish thali.and nolen gurer rasogolla, tak doi.in that one huge big piece of fish she got.in thali aloo-patol tarkari,aloo-karola fry, plain rice, plain dal and sweet plastic chutney.
At last one of my friends took one rasogolla. And surprisingly she asked for 2nd rasogolla.i was very happy when she asked for 2nd.
Amantran is the best restaurant for Bengali style rolls and food! I would definitely recommend Amantran for fulfilling your taste buds. I regularly order the Rolls, Fish Fry, Frankie, Mughlai Paranthas
They have recently redone their interiors do visit and support them, their owner Mr. Ghosh is very approachable and takes all feedback seriously
PS - It is value for money and you'll be surprised with their prices!
One of the few places in hyderabad where you can taste authentic bangali food. Delicious, fresh and reasonably priced. Veg Thali is just Rs 60. Fish can be enjoyed starting Rs 85. Hilsa or ilish at Rs250 only. We enjoyed the meal thoroughly. Place is not very big but taste is good. For the first time in life I had hot rassogulla there. Cleanliness near handwash area can be better but Highly recommended.
Excellent food quality. Unbelievably bengali. Never though I would get home like dal here in the southern part of India
Great place to eat Bengali food. It's a humble place not too fancy, but the food tastes Bengalicious.😋
You'll get authentic Bengali food here and also at a very reasonable rate. What is most important is the nice quality and taste that they maintain. It is a must visit restaurant in Secunderabad if you're looking for Bengali dishes.
Food is good but not at best level. This bengali resturant is just situated on the opp of Indira park and beside of hyderabad ramkrishna math. Also they accept order vi zomato, so you can order food from this resturant via zomato if you are feeling lazy and also get zomato discount. They mainly has meal thali system served with rice ,dal , one sabji and papad. Again if you need extra rice then you need to buy and that's not free man. Also if we ask then they will give extra sabji or dal again, otherwise not. The quality of the food which I eat at the resturant physically was not so good and tasty but the food everytime i ordered via zomato which was awesome in taste and enough in quantity. So that was a magic kinda thing. However you can catch auto or ola or uber to come here from any corner of hyderabad.
Amazingly DELICIOUS Veg Chop...Shingara...Roshogolla and Mishti doi....for sure a must visit place for people loving all these with a Bengali taste....LOVED THE TASTE...
I love this place for rasgula, Misti Dahi and Bengali parotha. The first thing I noticed that I was going to be the best way to get bengali fish called vetki
I went after visiting Ramakrishna Math. I had Dal Tadka & Dhoka Dalna w/ 2 roti. I mostly eat sattvic, so normally Indian food has too much rajas (chillis). However, my stomach could handle the Dal Tadka. The Dhoka Dalna had no chilis. Roti was fresh-made (not from a package) Excellent option for Yogis/sattvic who want a bit of rajas for dealing with city pace.
( People complaining about cleanliness..? This is India! The place wasn't sterile like a surgery room, but definitely meeting standards )
