Tasty Kerala food served in earthenware. Fish curries are a must try.Ambience could be better. The grandma is very friendly and overall, the place is homely.
Tucked away upstairs - away from the hassle of the restaurants along the water. Excellent balcony with cool breezes and the most delicious curries. Being in Kerela I had to try the seafood. I tried the fish mango curry and the prawn masala roast with rice. Both had the most delicious curry sauce - perfect level of spice and flavor.
A safe, relaxing environment and delicious food! 100% recommend.
It was great nine years ago, and is still one of the best in Fort Cochin. Had checked up on the reviews here before returning - had none of the issues described. The food isn't served in five minutes, but when you're having fish from scratch, you don't expect it too! Both the tomato & yoghurt and green mango currys are amazing, I'd recommend the ginger lime and mint lime sodas too (by the handled mug, no short measures!), and it's all fairly priced.
I never review places because I'm lazy but this was hands down the best meal I've had in a month and half in India. Good prices and portions. Everything is from scratch so takes longer time but it was so good. We had banana lassi, mango fish curry, fried rice and also fried chicken.
