Went to this place a few months back. From their beautiful decor, courteous staffs and excellent service to lip-smacking and tastebud ticking taste of the food, everything about this place speaks class and elegance in every way possible. They offer a lot of unique north Indian dishes as well as different types of biryani and chinise dishes. Had the banjara kebab,pan fried chilli chicken, chicken peshwari and nizami biryani from here and everything was just perfect. Do visit and satiate your taste buds!

There had been very few places that gets a 5 rating on my part. This place is one of them. Which implies the experience was splendid. 😍 Ambience - The decor is just so beautiful with a golden touch. The seating arrangement is huge and the seats were so cosy and comfortable. I loved their music collection that was played when we went to dine in the evening. It had a perfect royal yet romantic setting. Loved it thoroughly. ❤ Food - Had Strawberry Banana Smoothie, Coconut Water Mojito, Golden Fried Crispy Chilli Baby Corn, Chicken Banjara Kebabs, Mohini Naan, Murgh Nurhaani, Pan Fried Chicken Noodles, Fish Cake, Sizzling Brownie with Hot Chocolate topped in Vanilla Ice Cream. *Coconut Water Mojito - It's a boon to beat the heat for summer. It was so refershing. *Strawberry Banana Smoothie - It's such a perfect blend of Strawberry and Banana. Looks & tastes perfect! It was sweet to taste yet so good and refreshing. *Crispy Chilli Baby Corn was Superb ! After a long time, i loved this here. So a big 👍 people. It was crunchy yet not over fried. And the dish was cooked great. *Chicken Banjara Kebab was good. The pieces were a bit hard. Had it not been so, it would have tasted great. And it was lil cold when it was served. *Mohini Naan - It's a completely new concept that I have come across here. It was blended with eggs. But you can't smell that too. Perfecto ! *Murgh Nurhani - It's a red gravy chicken preparation. It had required amount of spice and the chicken pieces were soft and it went well with the Mohini Naan. *Pan Fried Chicken Noodles - It was great. The brocollis, carrots and other veggies were cooked so well. The Noodles had a great blend of all these veggies on the top. *Fish Cake - I personally loved this preparation. These were Bhetki Phillets. As you have this, you can smell of Aroma King lemon and it was so soft and fresh. I loved it to the core. *Sizzling Brownie with Hot Chocolate topped in Vanilla Ice Cream - This is my must-have dessert wherever I go. So had this here too ! The Brownie was soft but a lil hard on the other side. Had this been soft, it would have been superb. The Chocolate sauce was sufficient and tasted real good with Vanilla Ice Cream. 😍 They had served Papad as complimentary. And I loved the food overall. Service - As soon you enter the gate downstairs, climb up the huge stairs and grab your seat, you'll find courteous staffs there. Service time was pretty quick. They are well informed about every details of the place. Hospitality is really really commendable. Kudos to the entire staff team ! Keep the good work up ! ❤ Since this place was great, I would highly recommend you people to visit and have a great time there. 😍

The Palms Restaurant is a North Indian menu based restaurant located in Southern Avenue, just a couple of minutes walk from Rashbehari more or Kalighat metro.. It has a lovely ambience overall with soothing music, lights and beautiful decor.. It is quite spacious and I'm pretty sure you'll like the environment around.. Coming to the staff, they were polite and helpful..Service was quite fast (although restaurant was almost empty when we went in).. Now coming to the food which we ordered; Drinks: • Mixed Lime Soda (Sweet & Sour) Starters: • Bang Bang Prawn • Fish Cake Pepper Salt Main course: • Pahari Bhurji • Chicken Noorani • Gosht Roganjosh • Peshawari Naan Desserts: • Classic Crispy Honey Darshan with Vanilla Ice cream The Bang Bang Prawn was Bang On! perfect.. Crispy juicy prawns coated with mayo ..Will melt in your mouth and you will crave for more .. A dish worthy of recommendation ❤️ The Fish Cake Pepper Salt was a bit spicy although that just adds to its flavour..crispy around the edges and spices all around..this made for a good appetizer.. Coming to the main course, the Pahari Bhurji was basically egg bhurji with a bit of greens in the mix..it tasted good but more than that it's healthy..it's a bit blunt to be honest, but that depends upon individual taste.. The Chicken Noorani had this rich coconut flavour in it. .Went really well with the naan..Rich and creamy in texture and taste.. The Gosht Roganjosh is a mutton gravy preparation with a bit of heavy spices ..Although it tastes a bit sweet, do try this one out as well..Goes well with both biryani and naan.. The Peshawari Naan is this beautiful delish stuffed with coconut and cream and is topped with almonds..They provide you with Aachar, Vinegar Onions and chillies on the side.. The main courses complimented each other perfectly.. Now coming to the dessert, we had ordered the Classic Crispy Honey Darshan with Vanilla Ice Cream..Here P.S., usually they give only one scoop of ice cream, but because we asked for one extra scoop, you can see two scoops in the picture..As all desserts are this one soothes the soul as well after a heavy meal..A sheer bliss for sure ❤️

Food quality and ambience both are very good.The kewab which we placed was really mouth watering and the Nizami biriyani as well. We ordered peswari chicken as side dish that was also delicious and the service of the particular restaurant is also pretty fast.

One of the best multi-cuisine restaurants of Kolkata situated at Southern Avenue. Please try kumbh nawabi, nihari gosht, kebabs, Choco sizzler!

Family friendly restaurant, neat decor. Price a little higher compared with quality.
