The breakfast and desserts are to die for !! awesome Interiors and courteous staff !! Loved the place !!!!!!!!
Its a beautiful and comfortable place to have breakfast food is excellent an service is really good keep it up Edesia
Last week went to this place for breakfast and i was amazed with its ambience, food and service.
What did i had ? well i had quite a few dishes but my favorites dishes are egg benedict and Mango Chicken Salad
Egg benedict is poached eggs over bacon and buttered toasted but you dont eat bacon then you ask them to replace it with chicken which is one of specially of this place that they can customize the dishes as per your need.
Before some day I had my competative exam at morning in saltlake area.. After completing we felt so hungry so driving through parama flyover decided to go somewhere in parkstreet area.. Then I searched zomato and found edesia at minto park. There we can have our breakfast or also can have lunch.. so we visited there.. The ambiance is quite good.. As the time was 12 o' clock. So there breakfast buffet was end.. So we have decided to have some food from main course.. There we have ordered 'lasagna alla bolognese' but they didn't have mutton so we changed the dish.. We have ordered American@ chicken noodles soup, chicken haka noodles with basil chicken.. Overall the quality of foods are good.. Nice staff.. I would like to recommend this place to my friends too..
Great combination of good ambience and food! We had the Breakfast buffet which was very nice, althought the Indian entrees could have been a shade better. Nifty tablemats too!
This place was long time pending for me. Enjoyed a refreshing breakfast today, and I must say, the food lived up to expectations.
South Indian can give a fair challenge to any good stand alone restaurant. The pancakes were so well cooked. Quality of all bakery products were excellent.
Overall, the food was so fresh that the experience was refreshing.
Honestly when I saw the menu I was impressed but wasn't sure the food would be as impressive. Since I've shifted to Kolkata I've had a few terrible experiences but Edesia which I found only through Zomato, was an amazing surprise. What a lovely quinoa salad, the Caesar was great too. My favourite though were the potatoes in a lovely buttery sauce and the BRIE WITH PECANS - stole my heart! I opted for home delivery but can't wait to visit in person. Super experience!
Having anticipated this visit for eons, we definitely went nuts when we finally went here for an early lunch. The service is top notch and pitch perfect. I cannot think of a restaurant that has got it so right in a long time. Very clichéd but it’s the small things that reflect in the approach.
Now on to the food. The hot white chocolate screamed my name :D Sadly it was too thick and milky for my liking and I actually felt they could have gone easy with the marshmallows (gargantuan). There on, everything came up roses. Superb mashed potatoes, satisfying French toast (didn’t beat The Egg Factory’s, wasn’t expected), disappointing stuffed mushrooms (blame the texture of the mushrooms), hot gazpacho (see what I did there) and classic mac & cheese (which was delicious even eaten cold a few hours later). There you have it. I won’t be surprised if I’m back here for the breakfast buffet.
A huge surprise . I had stepped in hoping for breakfast not knowing that they make one of the best breakfast buffets in town . Sunday Scenes was sorted . A full blown continental breakfast buffet spread and cheerful decor make Sunday mornings even happier.
They had all the good continental breakfast prerequisites and the staff and ambience is lovely.
I love their food and the service is awesome. I loved the 🥓 bacon and pork platter.
My fiance had ordered the chicken Caesar salad and the Banana Milkshake. They were good too.
Loved the place. Looking forward to my next visit.
If you are looking for Breakfast or Brunch in Kolkata, its not always necessary that you have to either go for high end restaurant or kachori by the roadside.
A good english Breakfast is what Edesia offers.
Ambience is on point.
I would recommend all Visitors to DEFINITELY try hot chocolate which it serves along with marshmallow, Spinach crepe and corn on toast. These recommendations are for those who are purely vegetarian, those interested in nonveg can go ahead and order, I'm sure they won't disappoint.
Heard about this place from many of my friends and wanted to pay a visit since a long time. Went to victoria for playing cricket on a Wednesday morning. On my way back to home i decided to have breakfast at this restaurant.
It is located in minto park regency building. Got a proper parking slot in the building itself and it was a big tick in the box. Wednesday being a working day resulted in no guests at all in restaurant. I had the entire restaurant by me. The interiors were a great fusion of modern fixtures with the vintage tiles.
Greeted by the associates there and was asked to sit anywhere i wished to. Pawan was my server and he presented the menu in a jiffy. They have two options to go for. One is the ala carte and other being the buffet spread. I opted for the buffet after seeing the spread which was elaborate and had the right mix.
Ordered a cheese chicken omlette from the eggs to order section and by far this was the best omlette i had. The cheese was so gooey in it. The cold coffee which i called for was just off the hook. They use baskin robbins as their base ice cream for it. My love for nuttela spread on multi grain was taken care of which was a great addition to have. The cold cuts were eaqually good.
Pawan then insisted me to go for some indian. They had 4 options in indian. The one which i wanted to have was the luchi and dal. Trust me the first morsel took me back to the college days where we use to have this. What i dint like that much was the overly crunchy chocolate croissant which had very little amount of chocolate in it. Nuttela donut was fantabulous.
As far as the desserts are concerned sponge cake was the best of the lot follwed by the pancakes and waffles. Took a photo of the sponge cake and posted on instagram which enabled me to get a 5% discount on my billing. Thats a really out of the box approch towards social media marketing.
Conclusion is that i was made to feel at home by pawan with some real good food on offer. 700 all inclusive for the buffet i think is just perfect. Loved the place so much that i shall visit it again for ala carte dine in option.kudos team edesia.
Recommended for everyone.👌
So we went to this place last year for bhai duj breakfast .
They gave us a separate area as we were Around 20 of us .
They had a decent spread which consisted of South Indian food , fruits , some Italian dishes , omelettes and some more things .
The food was good and we had a great time .
Worth a visit !
Absolutely love the place. It is warm and coy and so pretty. The breakfast buffet is beautiful and the a la carte dishes are delicious too . They make some lovely cakes. The lemon cake is my favorite here
Great experience, courteous staff, quality food , elegant decor..
It's a really soothing and relaxing place. A great place for a hangout plus a must try to all the dessert.
