Ming Garden is just beside the more famous, Golden Joy, and people go to GJ over it. Ming Garden is good for your gettogether party with old friends, as there is no music, you can enjoy the real old day charm. You can feel the age of the restaurant as well. They serve drinks at a bottle of 750ml which cut down your bill to a good level, and starters will help you to complete that bottle in a single session. As I revisited recently, they often out of prawns, fish is basa and chicken is as good as it was. Noodles are also as good as it were!
Chinese restaurant and Tangra go hand in hand. The most economical yet most authentic Chinese food is available here. Serving till late night , the place offers some amazing flavours and you are up for good time along with some booze, this particular place is your place to go.
Items tried are as follows:-
1. Chicken Lollypop- Crunchy and good in taste
2. Lime Soda- Sweet
3. Mixed Chowmein- Good in taste and the items were cooked very well
4. Chilly Chicken- The preparation was good but could have been better...

Devadeep Chowdhury lives in Delhi,when he comes to kolkata we try to meet for a get together.The day I along with Sagnik Bhattacharya and Devadeep were already down with one 750ml whiskey and went to china town at 10:30 pm.Almost every restaurant was closed at that time.Suddenly Ming Garden came as an angel.But the only problem was that we had to pay in cash.We ordered chicken wings,chilli pepper chicken,pepper prawn,Prawn chips (which is very normal thing to order at china town and a must try),mixed noodle,mixed rice noodle and honey chicken.And of course one 375 ml whisky bottle.
From the outside it is such a restaurant that anyone hesitate to enter after watching golden dragon(neighbour) big boss and beijing,but the foods were just awesome.We were little bit disappointed after watching that they had no option of duck or pork items. But every item was excellent os taste and the chicken wing was very much mouth watering.I wish to go there again.
The best place to have a chinese lunch and dinner in Kolkata.It provides the cheapest food services in this area. The Restaurant is located in Tangra China Town, Kolkata, West Bengal that provides you the best quality food service.
It offers dishes like Chinese, and some others mouth watering dishes that make you feel delighted. Besides, it has great interior that is well furnished, and equipped with amazing lights and impressive dining table.
Ordered mixed fried rice and the taste of rice was good. It was fully sufficient for two eaters. The food quality was very good.

This restraunt is located in China Town, inside a narrow lane just beside Golden Joy. The out look of the restraunt will not catch you up but the inside part is very soberly decorated. The ambience is cosy and pleasant. The staffs are also cooperative and helpful.

If you hang out for lunch, dinner, even for a birthday party why you won’t go to this place.. A very nice place with a good food don’t miss it please have visit and you will see what happens and of course you will enjoy the food😌😌 please do visit and have a nice food with family/friends/dating😉 whateva. I visited ming garden restaurant in tangra last week for dinner.thai soup was yummy, starter crispy chicken & honey chicken also tasty and juicy and main course also good,food was amazing i really enjoyed it. price also reasonable though i stay at Mumbai, i will definitely visit this place next time..
Mr Ayush Tamang is a best staff this was my first time but service were very nice and Yeah Mr Ayush Tamang gave the best service will visit soon. Cheers 🍻
