This place is one of the older restaurants in town. The Chinese delicacies are delicious and the staff behaviour is great.
Ordered a Babycorn Manchurian (Gravy) for delivery from this place - Mandarin Gourmet based somewhere in the Tangra locality – which is the Chinese food hub of Kolkata!
As the name suggests, yummy Manchurian was served in babycorn gravy with generous pieces of chopped garlic as well as coriander, not to forget the punch of Schezwan!
Dish was pretty tasty, no complaints on account of quality, tamper proof packaging and the like! Quantity served is also decent!
Pocket pinch is high though, rest all, so far so good!

Mandarin is one of the oldest restaurant in Tangra. Had Mixed Haka Chowmein with Chilly Chicken.
Taste was just beautiful. The flavours are so correct. Authenticity lies in Tangra and so in Mandarin. It's a must visit place

It is a well decorated place amd always crowded.
The place is amazing both quantity and quality wise.
The rice noodles and mandarin chicken are a must try for all.
Ordered Panko Fish on 16/06/2019. The taste of Panko Fish was absolutely spectacular. Its a must try if you visit this restaurant. It is well and truly the most deserving signature dish of Mandarin Gourmet.
Had ordered egg noodles Hakka and chicken fried rice,. The was really good and the quantity as well,. It had the China Town flavours,.but it was less in salt,. Worth a try,. And it's decent on pocket as well,.
Great taste with authentic chinese smell and odour . the delivery timing was fast. really liked the experience. Only the sauce was absent in the pack.
Recently visited this restaurant 😁 after a very very long time..

Went there on 1st Jan and got table very easily. Surprisingly they have huge space and ample sitting. So on any occasion if you aren't getting table anywhere you can give them a try. Ambiance was okay, service was bit too slow.

Cgp was just basic fried chicken tossed with green chilli, onion and capsicum. No special spices, no sauce, nothing special, don't order it. Thank god we had Prawn Crackers to compliment.

Chicken Cantonese was showstopper and different than usual gravy noodles at other places. Noodles in semi gravy, ample veggies carrot, capsicum and onion, lots of chicken chunks and it tasted delicious. Hakka noodles were also quite good.
Hot Garlic Chicken was served 20 pcs in full portion and it tasted quite good too. Portion per dish was really good.

Food quality is good but not excellent, service is bit slow, ambiance is okay, ample tables available, pricing is mediocre, overall deserves a visit. Beer prices are also affordable.
Perfect place to hang out with friends. The quality of food is great and authentic. I ordered fish items. The quality of fish is really good. Golden Prawns are just awesome! Overall atmosphere and service is very good.
Good restaurant providing huge quantity of rice. Chilly Chicken is good but sweet. Nice food quality one must try....
We started with soup and starters with some beer and ended with sweet noodles with vanila ice cream.Each food item was just perfect.Such budget friendly yet tasty food with authentic taste !! China Town you will always have nostalgic memories and ambience is ordinary, but that's what makes the place unique and typical China Town restaurant.Loved the experience totally and would like to visit sometime again.

The food was too good and way too much pocket friendly. The service was great, they were serving everything hot. Especially I loved starters the most. Proper hygiene was maintained. I would definitely suggest everyone to visit there once.
The place is nice and cozy. Food could have been better. Never mind. Ambience is good too.
