Being a bangali , Sare Chuattar has already stole my heart through their elaborated menu and bangaliyana. Recently I tried their Shorshe Hilsha and bhaat which gives a typical taste of bengali culture. The food is no doubt amazing and the taste will surely give you the real taste of Bangaliyana ❤
Coming to the ambience , the staff is extremely friendly and well manner and there is a good range of elaborated typical bengali menu. ❤
Heard about a lot of Bengali cuisine of this restaurant.. So planned for it.
📍Located near Deshapriya park..
This resturent is themed on famous bengali movie "Sare Chuattar".. You'd find Bengali atmosphere all around you..

I went here with my parents today for a typical bengali lunch on the occasion of Repulic day and with the staff's suggestions, ordered basmati rice, shukto, masala moog daal, jhuri jhuri aloo bhaja, kochupata chingri, daab chingri, chicken dakbanglow, ilish bhapa, bhetkir paturi and chutney. Needless to say, we loved all of their preparations which seemed as if we were indeed having home-made hearty food made with love and nostalgia. Would totally recommend to try the shukto, kochipata chingri, ilish bhapa and bhetkir paturi. The staffs were quite courteous and welcoming. Really pleased with their services and would definitely drop by again and again for their delicious Bengali spread. Totally recommendable.

Not only the name of this place is on the popular and Bengalis' all time favourite movie "Sare Chuattar" but also this place serves some amazing authentic Bengali food.
This place is located near Desapriya Park. They have a totally "Bangaliana" atmosphere in their place. They can accommodate around 25-30 people at a time.
I had tried-
Basmati Rice,
Sukto,
Jhuri aloo vaja,
Masala moong daal,
Mochar ghonto,
Chicken Dakbanglo,
Kochupata Chingri,
Mix chatni.
First thing I have to say that all the food quality was too good, not too rich or too dull. I ate a lot as they were like totally home made food. Secondly, they tasted just like they should taste or the taste we get at any Bengali kitchen.
Basmati rice was thin, long and well cooked. When I poured a bowl of sukto on it,it was heavenly, all kind of veggies were in the sukto.
Jhuri aloo vaja, our all time favourite, specially with moong daal and hot rice. We do not need anything more. Aloo vaja was with peanuts and curry leaves. Daal was not watery.
Mochar ghonto was the best dish here for me,it was not too sweet, mocha was well cooked.
Chicken dakbanglo for the first time I tried here, the gravy was full of scrambled eggs, chicken pieces were soft, tender and juicy.
Kochupata Chingri here was not interesting, it had less mustard, more posto/khuskhus. But number of prawns in one bowl of kochupata Chingri justified the price.
Lastly without which we bengali can not finis our lunch, that is chatni. Here, the mixed chatni was sweetened properly and with cashews, raisins etc.
So as a Bengali, I really liked this place and prices here are very much pocket friendly..
Sare Chuattor is basically a restaurant that serves authentic Bengali cuisines at a very reasonable price! The ambience is based on the movie sare Chuattor, and also depicts a total Bangaliana atmosphere!
They have a wide range of dishes starting from various fish, chicken, Mutton preparations! I went their with my family as we were looking for a place that serves authentic Bengali food! And our decision was so correct of visiting this place.
Now coming to the food :-
We tried
Bhaat,
moong dal
jhiri jhiri aloo bhaja,
sukto,
kochu pata diye chingri bhape,
morchar ghonto,
daab chingri and ended our heavenly lunch with Malpoa.
Each item we tried are highly recommended from this place! Loved the food and the service was prompt and staffs were friendly and courteous! A highly recommended place for sure. ❤️
Sare chuattor is located in Southern Avenue. It specializes in authentic bengali cuisine The ambience is soothing and it's well decorated. The staffs are also very courteous. I went there with my mother to try some bengali food as it's our comfort food. We ordered, Steemed Rice which was perfectly cooked. Jhur jhure alu bhaja which was absolutely crispy and was filled with peanuts. Kochupata diye chingri bhapa was the best and it was prepared with kochupata, chingri, posto and other ingredients. I loved it and it's highly recommended. And at the end we had chutney which also tasted great. Pocket pinch is 600/- for two.
It is very good authentic Bengali cuisine restaurant at saratbose road, beside petrol pump. I and my family visit this place last Friday food and staff was too good. I ll visit again .....
Nice food, staff behavior also good
Ordered plain rice moong dal jhuri aloo bhaja aloo posto kofta curry doi ilish fried papad i... enjoyed the meal...it was truly delicious... would definitely go there again
A good small joint serving delicious food. Happened to walk in on a hot afternoon as I wanted to try good bengali food which is not very heavy on pocket. I had previous experience of some really awesome food at 6 ballygunj so the expectations were really high.
This one is half of the budget of 6 ballygunj and still managed to impress me with the quality of food. I ordered malaicurry chingri, rice and one more item which was recommended by the waiter. Had requested them to use minimal oil which was duly followed. Food was amazing, very less oil and prawns were fresh and tasty. They served 2 large sized prawns instead of 1 and reason for 2 was that they were supposedly of smaller size! You can see in photos how big they were. I have tried other places and they serve only one with same sized prawns. One of the most satisfying lunches in Kolkata. Service was prompt and good.
This is on a must visit place for my next visit to this food lovers paradise city. A complete value for money. Total hit was approx 600 for the 3 items.
An absolute delight . Inexpensive delicious Bengali cuisine at its best . The place to go for all kinds of delicacies you’ve forgotten you ate sitting cross legged on the floor of your great aunt’s kitchen while she urges you to accept one more piece of a gigantic piece of delicately cooked Katlaa fish .
So, it was aam pora shorbot, basmati pulao, bhetki paturi, chicken dakbanglow, shukto and plain rice for us. The food was no doubt delicious and lip smacking. The service and quantity were decent too. The chicken was extremely tender and well-cooked, it indeed tickled my palate.
However, coming to something completely unrelated; the washroom needs cleaning, it was a major turn-off considering I had my meal after.

Very quick service, nice food... Dab chingri and butter fish fry were especially awesome....
WoW!
SareChuattar restaurant serves both veg and non-veg dishes. It cost ₹450 (approx.) for two at SareChuattar. Excellent food, exceptional all fish items. It's a very cool place for dinner and to hang out with friends and family!
The food was extremely delicious especially the ilish bhapa.
