This gives an royal ambience, the sofa is so comfy and the food taste like wow , I've always been fond of visiting the ITC Darjeeling lounge and finally the taste and the ambience they provide it's feels like Everytime I visit there
The ambiance of this place is really majestic. It gives you royal experience. The portion size was also quite satisfying. The taste and menu was so different like risotto with bhetki and it was really going well together.

So, starting from the first I have planned to celebrate my special one's birthday at the Royal. But, unfortunately due to some miscommunication we had to drop the plan. Ms.Purvi took the pleasure of calling us and explained the miscommunication happened
with us and we were soo delighted that we opted to go for it.
The hostess Ritika was courtageous enough to guide us to our table and even spent a quantity time with us while we were having our meal.
With a special note the food was just fabulous and never tasted such delicious delicacies ever before. Pitched with Kanzama kebab(one of the best part of the meal), to the soup and then the mouth watering Chopsuey. By the time we could move towards our last main course that is Pasta, we were already full so the server helped us to pack it for us.
It was an wonderful experience being their at the Royal Bengal for the first time. Loved the behaviour of the staffs and those lickicious foods of chef, unfortunately couldn't praise him due to certain protocol.
And, not to forget the wonderful surprise at the end provided with a b'day cake to celebrate which was totally unexpected. We really thank the entire team of Darjeeling Lounge for making a great day.
We look forward for this amazing service again to enjoy.
If you are a Mocha lover like me then trust me on my words they have the best one in entire kolkata .

A boarder of the hotel invited us for lunch at the Grand Marker Pavallion. We were, unfortunately late and it was about 3PM, so the resturant had shut shutters. So we oped for The Darjeeling , situated just next to it. Although called a lounge, we wre surprised by the extensive food and beverages menu here, The portions served were also quite fiiling. Each one of us ordered different items and most of the them tasted superb.The coffee served was uniquely and differently decorated on the top for each of the guests Although a Monday afternoon, all seats were practically occupied which is a testimony to its popularity. Only adivise, service needs to be a bit quicker - waiting time is on the longer side !
Fially, the hotel itself - it is an epitome of architectural grandure and magnificance. Pretty sure, there are not many properties in Asia comparable to this one.

I recently had our anniversary lunch at this Resto Cafe at ITC Royal Bengal Hotel. Thd following is my experience of the place and rating in a scale of 5 (5 being the highest).
A. Location: On the first floor lobby of the newly opened ITC Royal Bengal Hotel , at 1 JBS Haldane Avenue (E M Byepass).
B. Cuisine: Cafeteria and Patisserie with good choice of menu from local, North Indian and Italian cuisine.
C. Decide and Ambience: As expected in a cafe in house a Luxury 5 Star hotel, the decor and ambience is truly classy. With libe coffee brewing area in the midst and choice of sitting on sofa and dining chairs, the ambience shall impress you (Rating 5)
D. Food tried: We opted for Fresh Watermelon Juice, Fried chicken served with potato fingers to start with and followed by Lal Mas ( Lamb slow cooked in red curry Rsjasthanu style) served with Lachha Paratha as main course. Fried chicken was crispy and having standard taste as expected and nothing special to mention about. Lamb was succulent and almost without bones and cooked to perfection that if meltz in your mouth. Red gravy was light but have good flavour of masala and tastes nice in your palate. Paratha had crispy crust but soft to chew. We ended our meal with Coconut milk Carsmel custard. Size was too small to the price but served lavishly with exotic fruits like strawberries, kiwis, black current. We finished up with coffee. Coffee was rich with full aroma and perfectly brewed. E. Service: Service was prompt and with smile( Rating 5)
F. Value for money and satisfaction: With the total bill of Rs 3450/- for two oc us fof the complete meal, it was truly value for money and must try Joint to feel the flavour of fine dining (Rating 4.75).
The food is amazing and staffs are polite. The portion is appropriate for 3 people.
Takes a fair amount of time to prepare the items but worth the wait for sure. A tad bit on the expensive side only cause its in the ITC Hotel and I think its the five star factor which automatically increases the economical part of the whole dining experience.
I had an extraordinary experience,as I was following a diet Kaustav curated a comfort meal as I requested.,was very courteous and kind. Abhirup served a wonderful coffee, was again very courteous.

Darjeeling lounge has become one of my favourite spots in Kolkata to taste some fine tea and snacks. The place is inside ITC Royal and is pristinely decorated. Apart from the different selection of tea, will recommend Chicken Katsu Burger and Carbonara from there. A nice place to catch up with friends over a cup of tea.
Experience was awesome. It was my birthday, they gave me a super yummy mouth melting cake.
Chicken fries was also awesome.
Fish and chips was awesome, you will get pure Bhetki. Must must try.
Darjeeling tea and cold coffee was awesome.must must try. Quality quantity is very good.
Only noodles was not as good as expected.
As it is five star hotel, there is nothing to say about price.
Great ambience, super amazing food. Due to the lockdown I guess they have cut short of staff due to which the services are a bit slow. But the taste of food beats all of that, must visit and will surely come again.

This is lounge for inhoise guests of ITC Sonar. The ambiance and seating arrangement is very good. The staff of the lounge is very helpful and understanding. Their service is excellent. It is worth spending some quality time.
I went to dine there in the month of December. Ambience was extremely good. Special thanks to debanjali for assisting me with the different types of cuisine available there. Also the lady who had served us with beverage was also very helpful. Love the property
Went to had late night dinner with my friends. Such a cozy ambience and excellent food . Staffs are outstanding Sweta and Rajdeep were very kind and helpful kudos to them. Must visit place.
So, today the review is in regard to a lounge in one of Kolkata's best 5-star hotel, ITC Royal Bengal. They have a huge menu. I had visited the place when it had inaugurated. As usual, maintaining the standards, ITC hotels the staffs are helpful and polite. The food was delicious and one order has optimum quantity for about 3 people as per me, it may differ from person to person. One visiting Kolkata, must visit there and enjoy the royal extravaganza.
Visited the fabelle store ( a part of the lounge) and the service was average. We were made to wait at the counter for almost 15-20 mins before we finally had to beg for a table. However the darjeeling lounge staff was excellent and offered us a table inside instead of making us wait in the waiting area. Our server made the experience much warmer and better. The croissant was the best I’ve had in Kolkata and the food was fresh , excellent presentation !
