Everytime we have ordered from Blue lagoon, we have had an amazing experience. Their mixed seafood noodles(both gravy and hakka) are delicious and contains a good proportion of chicken, squid, octopus and prawns. This time, they added a handwritten note with a complimentary custard which was so appetizing that we will surely order it again . Go for this restaurant without a doubt .
I ordered 2 veg hakka chowmein by Swiggy for me and mom for dinner. It was delicious. In fact there is no word to describe its awesomeness. Fabulous.

Went this place in Jadavpur supermarket, quite close to the coffee house of Jadavpur after many years. Special Mixed Seafood Rice with added pork from Blue Lagoon. Totally loved this flavourable rice well supplemented with egg, mushrooms, vegetables, prawn, squid, chicken and my added pork.
Seems to be the best of many worlds.
The first I had anything from this restaurant is back in school during class feast days when a friend who is associated with this arranged the order for the whole class. We would have to pay around 70 for this during school fees plus some extra if needed..the menu would be simple fried rice chili chicken or biryani or some sort of things like that for the whole class. Each class will have this on their own. After nearly 15 years this brought back memories from our Carmel feast days.

It is a decent place for a hearty meal, especially the pork items. The fried rice and the noodles are good enough to fill your stomach. But they can be a bit oily. Afterall, this restaurant offers reasonable quality at reasonable price.
This is located just beside the coffe house at Jadavpur.
It's a small cosy and dark place, but very nice to go on a date with your partner.
Prices are a little high but it absolutely matches with the food quantity and quality no doubt.
They offer Chinese food.

I treated myself and my friend with pork fried rice and chilly pork. Loved both equally. This place is amazing if one's looking for good taste in ample amount at a reasonable price. The only and major thumbs down is the place being not quite clean. You could come across cockroaches anytime and that puts the hygiene in a questionable position.
Best Chinese cuisine in and around jadavpur area without a doubt. Although the interior badly needs renovation. But if you are ordering then it's simply smashing food quality and taste. Mine picks of the menu are dry chilli pork onion capsicum, mixed rice noodles, sweet and sour Prawn, chilli fish among many. For ordering Chinese food it's a must try ....
Been a customer for a long time. Good standard of Chinese food. A small place but nostalgic and pocket friendly. Good place for schoolkids, college students and the like.
After renovation I visited this place after a long time. Look wise it's good but the place has too much sitting space which makes it clumsy. Food was excellent but the only problem was when the restaurant was full, the waiter was in a hurry to clean the table without asking us if we required anything more.
I ate two dishes. Crispy baby corn was good. But chicken hot wings was not as they provided a stored chicken with odour.
This is an old place which is really close to my heart. I visit whenever I travel to Kolkata. The taste of the food makes me reminiscent of old memories.
Really nice place, good ambience. Good price, not too expensive. Its Chinese is really the best attraction. Easy to reach. Right on the main road opposite to Jadavpur University gate and just beside 8B Bus Stand.

Food was extremely delicious. Fish finger ,fried prawn were great. Chicken momo was so good. Small place but very good. Food quality is great. Must visit.
Cons to check: Parking is not available,one needs to park vehicle near Kosturi restaurant.
Wheelchair accessible entrance is not there, staircase has to use.

One of my most favorite resturant in south kolkata.
Food is very tasty, and not costly. Has maintained the quality for a very long time. Nice staff. Some people may find the restaurant a bit shabby, but I prefer this type of small restaurants to many big ones that sell mediocre food at exorbitant price.
