Have been going to this place for years now, and the food has always been good. The restaurant was renovated recently making the outlook more posh and classy. The ambience is nice. Friendly staff coupled with great food and reasonable prices make this place worth trying out.

Good food, well behaved staff, silent ambience. These will describe the place best. If u are in a mood to spend sometime alone indulging yourself into North Indian food, visit Nargis. Quantity is really good and items are good too. As it is not much crowded, you will enjoy uo soul meal.

A classic decor with an aesthetic collage of legendary actor Anup Kumar greets you at this gorgeous culinary destination. BarB Q Fish was so soft and yummy. The starters are nicely prepared and even the desserts are lip luring. Highly Recommended!
After the renovation they have improved a lot in both decoration and ambience and also food . The amount they serve per plate for this price is quite reasonable compared to other restaurants.
it's a nice food joint near FE block,saltlake.the interior is spacious,the walls are decorated with famous tollywood actors of golden era,wall clocks and pictures gave it a nostalgic look.the food was comforting.we orederd a fresh lime soda,egg fried rice,chilli garlic noodles and hot garlic fish.the fish was amazing,tender and fresh,the rice was good but the noodles was a bit dry.the staffs were very courteous.price was ok comparing to the quantity which was huge for both the main nd side dishes.one dish is enough for two.love to come back soon.

It was a summer noon and a scorching outside and we were a hungry stomach situation.so passing by saltlake FE block and went to this restaurant..The interior is quite spacious enough for 50 people,big sitting arrangements Nicely decorated with pictures of tollywood stars of golden era.. the staffs were really nice and attentive..We ordered chilli garlic noodles chicken fried rice ,hot garlic fish and lime soda.each of the dish's quantity was huge one is enough for 2.and the fish contains 8 pieces and chicken dish contains 12 pieces!!as we saw in the menue card.. It's so rare!!the fosh was tender.the noodles had a bit much of garlic flavour and a bit dry.but otherwise it was fine.the rate is ok.a Nice experience.not a fancy restaurant but good for filling an empty stomach and to sit in a relaxed way and enjoy the food if you area in this area.
awesome restaurant,i went with my husband,very good decoration,awesome food,finger licking seafood,but mutton dish was not good,i tried octopus for the fast time,i am very satisfied with the food

Very simple and easy menu. Courteous staff make the difference at this place. I love their music choice, the Blues they played the other day was really soothing to ears and felt heavens while having the dinner. Good for single too.

Old Nargis food was exceptionally good.
This is best place for Chinese,but now they serve Indian food.
The new ambiebce is good and attractive.
Location is good and parking is not a problem.
Also don't forget to have pan from nearby shop
its going to be nostalgic experience for bengali cine lover...they should atleast come once here to celebrate their tolly film love...

A very good restaurant for Bengali Cuisine. Good environment. Food quality is also good with affordable price.
The quality of the food is nice compared to the price. The dried chilli chicken and fried rice is really good and also the gravy chow. You can eat there if you're with your friends and wanna fill your stomach up without making a hole in your pocket.

The quality of food was excellent. But the food supplied were not the food ordered. Instead of mutton biriyani chicken biriyani was served. Prices are reasonable. Overall a good experience
