Kaviar is a #PPPpartnership with the #GovernmentofWestBengal via Haringhata Meat Shop where the focus is on unconventional Non veg delicacies.. Tucked away inside #Saltlake - this one is certainly a hidden gem since 2016..
Service could be slightly better but the pricing is just perfect - extremely economical in respect to the delicacies on offer..
I gorged on #QuailEggDevil, #RoastedDuck & #TandooriQuail - all three items were delicious & specifically the roasted duck was a delightful gastronomical experience - couldn't have imagined duck meat can be that tender..
Missed out on the #RabbitBhuna that day - looking forward to go back soon post lockdown for the same..
I remember going to #Suruchi regularly just beside #SovabazarMetroStation years ago which was also run by the West Bengal government - that was where I had #Quail & #Rabbit for the first time in my life & became a fan of the same instantly - it unfortunately closed down at some point and I miss that place even today because of the unconventional delicacies that used to be on offer at extremely economical prices - thankfully, I have finally found an alternative now.. How many of you remember that eatery if I may ask??

Very much Pocket friendly. Quality n quantity is also good. I have added this restaurent in my list as i would love to go here again. Staffs are good.
have always been in my list weneva m n ahare bangla for last 2 years...quail preparation are definitely outstanding..b it egg or tandoori ...even the rabbit prepartns also need a special mention..
This is a budget friendly restaurant in Salt Lake. The food served was hot & delicious. The quality & quantity of the food is good. The environment is good & peaceful. The service is really good.

A hidden gem in Salt Lake. The food is excellent . Service is also warm and welcoming. I love their turkey patiwala and cheese naan. Also the tandoori chooza.
We arrived in afternoon completely drenched and were greeted by the staff. We ordered their special Duck Bungalow with butter Naan and in a while we were presented with delicious cuisine. The duck was tender and gravy was quite spicy which went well with the heavy rain.
In love with this cute little quail eggs n the quail kosha is just awesome. It's soft n tender n also has a smoky taste in it. The quality of steamed rice is also good as well.
In 'ahare bangla" food festival, we had pulao, bhuna rabbit and one turkey item. Pulao and bhuna rabbit was delicious but didn't like the turkey dish.
This is a hidden gem in salt lake. You should definitely try the cheese naan, turkey patiwala, tandoori chicken, kaviar special fried rice and ajwaini fish tikka.
We had Tandoori Quail,Quail Egg Butter Fry,Turkey Pasinda,Duck Dak Bunglow and Angara kebab.
Each of the Dish tastes are unique.
Among these 5 dishes My best dish are 'Turkey Pasinda' and 'Duck Dak Bunglow'
Soft and tender pieces.
Just yummy in taste.
Service was fast. Staff were polite.

Brilliant atmosphere, calm and delicious turkey. I would recommend people to visit and enjoy lovely food and ambiance.
A Hidden Gem by our West Bengal Government. "Kaviar" the restaurant based on serving a whole variety of unconventional meat. The types of meat you will get here is Duck, Quail, Turkey and many more. You can also procure the meat from their Store or get it delivered to your doorstep.
Do visit this place, Highly recommend.
The ambience is decent peaceful. The foods served are value for money. The service & hospitality is really good of this place. The behavior of the staffs are nice as well.
Good spread with a variety for the adventurous people . From duck, quail to other rare meats and eggs. Clean and quite ambiance which has fairly priced food. Ideal for group gatherings too as the restaurant is spacious, bright
and aesthetically pleasant. We as students love going there as its gentle on our wallets too. The topping on the cake is ground floor is a store packed with frozen meats, kebabs, to excellent mustard oil to ghee , to unique bird eggs not easily found elsewhere.
Definitely a good restaurant to visit. As this is a government owned one, you may find the prices are reasonable. But the placements of things are not proper.
Good food. Nice decor. Good yet slow service perhaps due to shortage of staff.
The location is not easily reachable on foot, the nearest bus stop being Chingrighata. However
We had ordered tandoori chicken, roasted duck and fresh lime soda. The chicken and duck were delicious.
