Nice place to chill after work as it is near to the workplaces. Coming to the service it was good not great but good. The Chinese bhel here is a must try if you are looking for veg snacks. We went there during happy hour on a weekday. Everything seemed nice and the vibe was chill

No lies, one of the best french fries I had in long time. Tried different burgers, sandwiches, chilli baby corn, all were equally good. The patty used in burger was so fresh and tender that you'd have nothing to complaint about. Mocktails were also good. They also got Hookah and alcohol you can enjoy. Pocket friendly and worth the money. On top that there's a buffet scheme too you can check. Staff service is on-point. The cafe comes with adequate seating space and a dim light theme to enjoy your food with. Would definitely recommend you to visit.

Review for Chai Break Buffet - The price of this buffet (weekend) - 750/- (all inclusive). Starter items are very good. These are served on table. In starter both veg items and non veg items were awesome. Apart from starters there are some delicious items in main course as well. But items are very less compared to other buffets. Dessert sections are also very well designed. Overall it was a quite nice experience and perfect place to have lunch/dinner with friends or families.

Amazing ambience and hospitality during peak hours. We hit the place during a late night on Sunday. Foods and beverages was superb. The staffs were very cooperative and friendly. Depsite of us being late at night they assured that our menus will be served at proper time. One will also find different types of mocktails along with cocktails and hookah.

Chai break is located opposite to ocean grill near RDB boulevard thus having a very prominent location providing access to all sorts of public transport. Not only a good location but also it provides one with a wide variety of food options starting from biriyani to pizza. Also one can get alcohol and hookah options at quite reasonable rates. The food quality is pretty good with a nice ambience for people of all kinds. The staff is quite polite and the service is moderate. Loved the place and it is highly recommended to everyone. The mocktails and desserts are just mesmerizing. The biriyani is not that good else pizza and all are fine. So if you want little refreshment with friends , this is the place. We tried - ● pizza ● hookah(blueberry pan is awesome) ● chicken biriyani ●chocolate lava cake with ice cream ●brownie with ice cream ●pineapple passion mocktail ●manchow soup ● French fries ●pasta The interiors are cozy and pretty well designed.

Good place to hang out. Service is good and food is also nice. But I believe that the food is a little overpriced. Hookah is also available, but you have to take it in Hookah room only so that others can enjoy food without smoke. It is located near BBQ nations in RDB.

Unlimited buffet including mutton at 699 A.I @ Chai Break Sector 5 What’s in the menu ( for people who do not like to read long reviews ) Welcome Drink : ( choice of any one , one glass per person ) THUMS Up SPRITE MASALA COLA FRESH LIME SODA Soup : CHICKEN MANCHOW SOUP Starters : (veg) POTATO WADGES CRISPY CHILLI BABY CORN VEG TIKI ACHARI PANEER TIKA Starters : ( non veg ) WOK FRIED CHICKEN WINGS PERI PERI FISH PAHARI CHICKEN TIKA CHICKEN SHEK KEBAB FRIED CHICKEN CHILL CHICKEN DRY Main course : STEAMED RICE ASSORTED INDIAN BREADS HAKKA NOODLES PRAWN IN HOT GARLIC SAUCE KADAI PANEER YELLOW DAL FRY KOLHAPURI VEG MIX SAUCE PASTA MUTTON ROGAN JOSH MURG DUM BIRIYANI VEGETABLE MANCHURIAN Extras : ONION, CUCUMBER & LEMON CAESAR SALAD FRIED PAPAD RAITA Desserts: CREAM CARAMEL BREAKED MIHIDANA GULAB JAMUN BROWNIE ICE-CREAM My personal experience? It is not at all easy to satisfy the palate of every customer walking into a restaurant. Mostly it is found that restaurants serving buffet where the menu is vast , fail to perfect most items in the event of trying to cover multiple cuisines on their menu. The task is difficult and often left undone. But here in Chai Break all my misconceptions were changed. Hardly I have experienced a buffet under 700 which serves over 25 items that too where all the items are so consistent in terms of flavours. Be it the vegetarian dishes or the non vegetarian ones nothing can be labelled superior to the other. In the starters , the chilly chicken dry and the fried chicken ( both boneless) were my stars of the show. The perfect crunch on every bite of fried chicken will definitely impress you and the subtle kick of spices from the dry chilly chicken will tantalise your tastebuds. Besides the kebabs, the wings and even the veg preparations were too good and I couldn’t resist myself from repeating few of those. After the massive start , expectations were too high and the main course lives upto it. Specially the mutton rogan josh with biryani were the show stealer. I didn’t hesitate to refill my plate with some more mutton and little bit of the biryani. When you have such star performers , the others might not be as good, yet your show will hit but here the case wasn’t such. Even the mixed sauce pasta was delicious and deserves special mention. The Chinese preparations , be it the pawns or the veg manchurian along with noodle are worth a try and they won’t disappoint either. Every dish has been prepared with utmost care. Things should always end well and on a sweet note. Desserts according to me play a vital role in every buffet. Here the dessert spread is neither too small not huge yet every item is worth a try. The brownies along with a scoop of vanilla ice cream is just enough for me. Although you also have gulab jamun , baked mihidana and cream caramel. This is one such buffet that you should never miss and the place mostly remains jam packed as it is in a very busy place so prior reservation should help your seamless dining experience.

Looking for a good buffet which serves quality food that too at a reasonable price? Then Chai Break, Sector V is the place for you. From Startares to dessert they really surprised me with the quality of food and the best part is the price of this buffet is Rs. 699 only. If you are booking it via Dine out you'll get it just at Rs. 650. This outlet of Chai Break is located at K1, RDB Boulevard, Block EP-GP, Sector V, Saltlake, Kolkata and this outlet is decorated beautufully and you can even enjoy live matches with you friends here. Now coming to the food we had : Welcome Drinks : Thums Up, Sprite, Masal Soda, Fresh Lime Soda. You can choose any one from this list. Soup : Chicken Manchow Soup. Who doesn't love a delicious soup before starting a good meal. They have both Veg and Non veg options for Starters. Veg : Potato Wadges, Crispy Chilli Baby corn, Veg Tikka and Achari Paneer Tikka. I absolutely loved the soft chunks of Achari Paneer . Non Veg - Wok Fried Chicken Wing, Peri Peri Fish, Pahari Chicken Tikka, Chicken Sheek Kebab, Fried Chicken, Chilli Chicken Dry. The Fried Chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, tasted delicious with the mayonnaise they served with it. I you are a spice lover you'll definitely fall in love with their dry chilli chicken. The chicken wings also tasted really good. Main Course : Steamed Rice, Assorted Indian Breads, Hakka Noodles, Vegetable Manchurian, Prawn In Hot Garlic Sauce, Kadai Paneer, Yellow Dal Fry, Kolhapuri Veg, Mix Sauce Pasta, Mutton Rogan Josh and Murg Dum Biryani. The pasta was very creamy and delicious. I totally loved the succulent pieces of Mutton Roganjosh, tastesd heavenly with the chicken Biryani. The Hakka noodles also tasted amazing with prawn in hot garlic sauce. They are also serving some Salad & Extras like Onion, Cucumber & Lemon, Caesar Salad, Raita and Fried Papad. We ended this amazing gastronomic experience with some lip-smacking Desserts like Cream Caramel, Baked Mihidana, Brownie, Hot Gulab Jamun and Ice Cream. Overall I had an excellent experience, from food to service I loved everything about this place. I would love to recommend this buffet to everyone. 👍
