Is it closed permanently? I went there wid a friend but was disappointed to find it closed!!!! Was really excited to get into it!!!! The place is easily reachable and the cafe seems quite interesting! If it opens again i would like to taste its specialities!!!
Lovely place to be with loved ones. Romantic atmosphere with balcony sitting, a small handcraft shop associated with photographs. It serves Best coffee and starters which worth you time and money.

Location - Opposite Deshapriya Park.
A little cafe with very limited seatings but with god Ambience. There is a boutique attached with the cafe.
The seating at the Varandah is very well brought up.
Food is good. Standard sandwiches and very tasty truffle cake. Coffee and tea are equally wonderful.
Pocket Friendly is another thumps up.
Service is good and attentive.
Overall its was a satisfactory visit.
This place is beautifully located at a serene confluence of Priya Cinema and Deshapriya Park. This Cafe cum boutique is the best place to chill with your mom or even with the gossip pals. The decor will just take you by it's elegance yet simplicity. The menu consists of some mouth watering patisseries and snacks. Take a couple of hours off from your busy schedule and do visit this place which is more awesome for it's intense hospitality.
Located in the lane between priya cinema and deshopriya park. Its a fashion and lifestyle shop with a cafe in it. ambiance of this tiny cafe is beautiful and one can check out for some unique beautiful stuff to buy from there shop. Dont expect much from menu because they have just single page menu which has some sandwiches ,tit bit ,tea and coffee which are reasonably priced.

Really liked the concept of turning this little space into a cafe cum a boutique-like.
The outdoor area has this swing chair and honestly my favourite part of the cafe. 😝
We spent almost 2hours out here without anybody having to say a word against that.
When we went, the owner of the place, Mitun Maam was managing the cafe single handedly. She greeted us. she's a very nice lady and she made sure we were comfortable out there.
We ordered:
chocolate truffle cake- sinful. Lord knows how much calories I gained.
Maka Maka special coffee with cookies- Now I personally prefer my coffee strong. Maka Maka special was exactly that.. the stronger Cappuccino. Loved it!
The store too had lovely items to be sold.
Price s at the cafe was very reasonable, no extra taxes.
It has always been my dream to sit at a balcony and sip coffee, while watching the busy road below. Maka Maka provides this ambience. The girl at the counter is friendly. I chose black coffee and tomato cheese sandwich. Food is good.
I wanted to try the balcony and I sat there accordingly. The seat is comfortable. The ambience is wonderful. But it was so humid that I could not sit there for long.
Anyway, it is wonderful to try.
Good place for "adda". Attached with a boutique and the owners are very friendly. Specially the attached balcony is very good to sit and chat for hours . Don't expect much in food. Overall a good place
Nice sweet place for a silent adda with friends. If you want a silent place from this hustle of Durga Puja then this is a perfect place to be. Its a good place to spent some quality time with your loved ones.

Well honestly the name sounds unlike a food joint and so I missed it when I crossed it few times earlier! Finally met a dear friend here who invited me for a coffee. An old house is converted into a curio store and cafe and honestly, this was enticing enough to visit the place!
The place is a visual treat with portraits, artworks, cushions and curios covering every corner of the cafe area. The store area is beautiful with artisan products on offer like cushions, sarees, scarves, bags, accessories!
Was not in the mood to shop ( yes I ain't much of a shopper) but was definitely in mood for food! ;)
We sat in the cosy cafe composed of three tables and a small open kitchen.
The place was empty so we opened our hearts out in deep discussion!
FOOD:
- A cafe latte which came in with a heart shaped cookie (aww). The coffee was good though not the best I have had. But good enough
- Garlic cheese toast was nice though they didn't serve up any ketchup with it
- Chocolate cake though dense was not moist but tasted well.
My friend also tried the nachos, cold coffee and found it to be just about okay. ( I didn't try it)
The service was slow but the staff was warm. They also have a small outdoor seating for those who like a view with their coffee.
The menu is simple and sufficient and overall a decent place to meet a friend. Food may not be their best bet but the place scores on the concept and comfort.
