And whenever we think of having Chinese , Chowman is the only name me and both my little ones can think of .We love the food the decor and the service which is unforgettable. My late husbands favorite was the special soup they made for him.

The best Chinese dishes I've ever tasted. I've had the opportunity to taste all the dishes this restaurant serves, and I loved every one of them. They use fresh ingredients and the quantity is really good, hence absolutely justifies the price. This is my goto place for Chinese cravings!

Veg Wok Tossed Noodles was full of fresh veggies & portion was very good (I would refer 1pk is enough for 2 girls),Chilli Chicken was soft & spicy with perfect thickness of gravy...Must Try Chicken momos... it was a good food experience which made me forgets to take pictures for the first time.

So It Was My Cousin's birthday. And He lovess Chinese. So how to surprise him in this lockdown situation. Well Let's order from Chowman!! Duh, the best Chinese near us anyday. So with this plan I ordered, One Chilli Chicken Wine, One Special Mixed Fried Rice and one Special Mixed Noodles.
Now let's talk about the packaging and safety, the food packets were properly Packed under two layers of plastic, and They have also given us the card showing the temperature of the cook & the Zomato Valet.
Now coming to the Food Quality,

Okay to be fair, Mixed Noodles and Chowman Special Mixed Noodles aren't that much different, just addition of some elements. Obviously it tasted great, no doubt. But I expected it to be something out of the box.
|| Special Mixed Fried Rice ||
Good in quantity, great in quality, just the same issue like noodles.
|| Chilli Chicken Wine ||
The standout amongst all. It was so good that I have to say it was one of the best Chinese I have ever had. With the Mixed Fried Rice it was match made in heaven. The tangy flavour of the wine made the dish so spectacular. One of Chowman's best. Recommended.

they have extensive menus with little expensive budget but the quality will not disappoint you....

Was craving for a dine in experience since the lockdown was lifted. Chowman was happily welcoming the guests. As this was my sole visit post lockdown and even to Chowman, was anxious about the hygiene. However, the effort they have put in for sanitizing every guests, offering disposals for eating and the sparkling clean ambience, was a confidence filled dine in experience. Coming to food, have tried barbeque chicken and it was salvitating. With proper heat, right sauces and flavour in place, crisp yet tender and fresh chicken, it was one of the finest dish I have tasted in recent times. Additionally, we tried Shanghai noodles, it was also well prepared, added spices, sufficient quantity and well savoured with coke float, everything was in right place for the taste buds!
All the necessary precautions have been taken in this outlet. The food as always is amazing and the best Chinese you can have in Kolkata.

The Crispy Chilli Fish (Beckti/Bhetki) was 10/10 dish and a must for all the fish lovers. The quantity they provided in a rice bowl was adequate for 3 person. The food quality was quite satisfactory.
The items that we had there are -
1) Kung Pao Chicken (12 Pcs) - Rs. 360
2) Shanghai Fried Chicken (Mixed) - Rs. 305
3) Crispy Chilli Fish (10 Pcs) Beckti - Rs. 555
It was a lovely experience at Chowman Camac Street.
We took Veg Meifoon 🍜 and Chicken in Black Bean Sauce 🍗.
The foods were served hot ♨️ and the service was quick.
Also, the staff(s) were professional and very courteous.

Ambiance is realy nice . Fully Chinese theme . Service and behaviour was also great and the food was nice . I think everyone will love their inner atmosphere .
Coming to the food review -
Pepper Garlic Fish was really good in taste . 8.5/10
Chicken Fried Rice had almost no chicken in it . We got Egg in the whole rice . And also the taste wasn't upto the mark . Just okay type . You can't say that's a FRIED rice . Maybe Boiled/vaporized rice . But the proportion was nice . 5/10
Mixed Rice had some steamed prawn in it . Prawn size was prominent but again the taste of Rice wasn't that good , and just as the chicken rice the mixed rice was also having very less chicken in it . But the proportion was nice again. 5/10
Chicken Manchurian was really good in taste . Quality and quantity was realy nice . 8/10
Hongkong Chicken was even better than Chicken Manchurian in taste . And also the quantity of this item was good enough . 8.5/10
I think it's a good place to visit, with friends and family or even with professional ppl .
Very good food in a good ambiance. Price is not too high, food quality is good. I but kids special menu is just outstanding. Special spon, fork, glass for the kids. Pictures and colours were provided to the kids when we were walking for the food to arrive. Very good experience............ One must visit here.

Eight of us family friends went on a Saturday evening and we were seated immediately.
It was slightly earlier than the usual dinner time.
The place isn't very big and was a little tight but it was fine.
We got very good recommendations for drinks and food and the wait staff took very good care of us.
All the dishes we tried tasted great. My favourite among what we ordered was the Chicken Manchow soup

Firstly the ambience was great. Secondly the service was also up to the mark. Lastly coming to food, it was also nice. Taste was of authentic Chinese. But more or less all the food were spicy. Overall a nice experience.
You can go with your family and friends. The ambience is pretty good. Foods are delicious. Food quality and quantity are nice but slightly overpriced. And the staff behaviour is good.

Chowman is a must try for Oriental cuisine lovers. Thought we have visited during festive time when they were serving limited items, but overall the taste of foods and the quality of service was too good.
We tried Drums of Heaven, Roasted Chilli Pork and Singapore noodles, and the flavour and taste was awesome.
