This place near the railway station was a recommendation of one of the colleague! Friends is a friendly place and quite famous for vegetarian delight and you will find a queue to enter and a long waiting! People are crazy for its dal specially trust me it’s an amazing place for a vegetarian delight!
Breads are also special but the dal is just out of the world will recommend everyone to visit this place!

It is oldest dhaba in ludhiana . I tried Bharata and butter roti. It was delicious and loved to visit again. If you are in ludhiana you must visit this place .

Food taste is so good and fresh. Staff is active and energetic..
But one gimic is there, If you visit any restaurant/food court in India, they are offering you normal drinking water free of cost. If you ask for mineral water, they served on chargeable basis... At this place, Staff simply provide you mineral water bottle without your demand and If you consume it, you have to pay 20 rs. for it... It is wrong practice. One positive thing is that if you raise your voice at reception, they deduct money for the same and provide a bill for food only. People awareness plays a vital role at this place.

They server amazing double tadka dal . Tomato cheese masala, palak panner amazing paratha and amazing khir and dal. They don’t serve rice.

Very old hotel with no variation in taste. There are just a few dishes in the menu booklet. Just one raita( lauki raita) . I think there must be more options. But the quality of food is always good. Great service. But the atmosphere isn't very impressive . We asked for a simple curd if there wasn't any other option, but they refused.
