We were searching good veg restaurant around Madurai thanks to Google ...after reading reviews we decided to take a chance because in Madurai we were not getting fine dine restaurants..so visited this restaurant on 1st floor ambience is ok compare to ground floor it's good then..but should should maintain ...now about food we order Madurai mashroom fry,paneer biryani,idli wada sambar..Madurai mashroom fry was too good I didn't had this type of mashroom dish before..they used different spices along with coconut,plathora of curry leaves,along with red dry chillies ๐๐๐ must try this .. biryani was also very good but they didn't served curd raita with so I was little disappointed but they served onions and one curry that was also good in taste..sambar was pretty good .. proper authentic Tamil Samar..over nice restaurant but need to improve hygiene ..

Their stall doesnt looks that good but believe me its totally awesome and lovely wrt taste and the cost
Wada sambhar and dal wada i had was so awesome, crunchy, delicious along with sambhar and chutney which were also perfectly delicious
Had normal meals. Food was tasty ๐ quantity was more than enough! Also had mushroom fry which was also very good. Good for family with out being much spicy. Definitely recommended.

This restaurant is situated on the main road and since there is no dedicated place for parking our vehicles it is sometimes hard to find parking here.
There are two types of dine in here, one is A/C which is on the first floor and the other one is normal which is situated on the ground floor.
The ambiance is good and the restaurant is well maintained for the crowd it gets on a daily basis.
There is good variety of foods available here and the waiters are friendly too. The taste is excellent for all the dishes I've tried. The cost also felt nominal.
One thing to note out is that there is a juice shop just outside/on the entrance of this restaurant and the cost of having it in the restaurant is quite higher than having it in front of the juice shop. So in my future visits, I would prefer to have juice at the shop rather than having it in the restaurant (cost difference is quite high as far as I have noticed).
This is one of the best vegetarian restaurants within madurai City limits and I would suggest people to visit this restaurant atleast once. Completely worth the hype.
Visited this place for breakfast, tried for mini tiffin, looks like they are not so much interested..so ordered idli..it was amazing, four different varieties of chutneys and sambar. Taste of sambar was yummy. Pongal was ok, medu wada is superb. Highlight is Puri masala, excellent taste of bhaji. Filter coffee is awesome.

Went to Amman hotel for lunch when I was in Madurai last Sunday. Went to their first floor family AC dining. The hall was fully crowded. The supervisors asked us to share a 6 seater table with 3 other people. We passed the offer and waited for a 4 seater table. Finally got a table after 20 minutes. We ordered special meals for everyone as everyone was raving about it in the reviews. We were served soups almost immediately. But the main meals were served delayed maybe due to some stuffs got over. But the rice and curries were really hot. Dhall powder and oil combination was a hit. Veg sides were ok. They were giving multiple serving. And they didnโt deny our request for extra pappad too. The complementary cup ice cream was not that great. Overall a ok experience for us. The only thing which we personally felt bad was people were standing and waiting for getting tables stare at people who are eating. They can try making a waiting hall outside with a token system for entry, so that people who are having food and people who are waiting will also feel comfortable.

Went for lunch for the first time to this place and wondered how I missed them all these days. We ordered the special meals that cost rs.200/person.
The menu for this package was so elaborate and sumptuous. Very tasty dishes and what made us feel good was the way we were treated by the staffs. They were friendly and helpful. The servers knew how much they should serve in consecutive servings without wasting food.
I could sense all their staffs should be well trained and the management takes so much of effort to deliver great experiences to their customers. They well understood that gold experiences make loyal customers.
Easily I wod rate Amman as one.of.the best restaurants in Madurai for vegetarian meals.

The best tea in Madurai surroundings.I never had such a tea in any of these.Felt like to order one more tea.The snacks also ๐ Nei Paniyaram was the authentic snack here only 2 is enough to fill ur stomach.People who really visit Madurai don't forget to have tea and snacks. Yet to taste in here the restaurant food's.
