Just had the pleasure of experiencing the Sunday brunch buffet at Pondicherry Cafe in Bandra Sofitel, bkc, and I must say, it was an exquisite culinary journey! As a food blogger, I've witnessed many spreads, but this surpassed expectations. 🌏
Each dish was not just a treat to the taste buds but a visual masterpiece as well. The artful presentation of the food added to the entire ambiance. 🍣 The Asian section, especially the sushi, was meticulously crafted with fresh ingredients, resembling edible art.
The Indian selection, with classics like biryani, various paneer dishes and indian curries, took me on a nostalgic trip while dazzling with its presentation. 🍛 The live chaat and noodles counters ensured freshly made, piping hot dishes with options to choose from flat noodles to spaghetti.
For cheese aficionados, the cheese boards were both a delight to the eyes and the palate with fresh fruits to go with it. 🧀
🍹 The cocktails and mocktails were not only refreshing but also presented with a finesse that made them photo-worthy.
Dessert was a symphony of colors and tastes. The ice cream toppings counter was a delightful touch, while the spread of desserts was visually appealing and sinfully tasty. 🍨
To round off the experience, the aromatic coffee was served with equal flair. ☕

The food is good but there are a few things that could have been better like the dessert I tried in the buffet there- Kaccha golla. It was quite hard as compared to what it should have been. Also the sautéed veggies could have been cooked a little bit more to soften them.

Her attentive service and willingness to accommodate our requests were truly commendable. Not only did she provide excellent service throughout the evening, but she also took the initiative to arrange a surprise birthday celebration for my 5 year old son, complete with a beautifully presented cake. It was an unforgettable gesture that added an extra touch of joy to our dining experience.
Furthermore, Anagha at the F&B reception left a lasting impression with her amiable demeanor and helpfulness. She greeted us warmly upon arrival and provided valuable recommendations regarding our menu choices. Her presence contributed significantly to making us feel welcome and valued as customers.
Last but not least, I would like to acknowledge Tanmoy, the manager on duty during our visit. His professionalism and attentiveness were evident in how well he managed the overall operations of the restaurant. Tried the Sunday lunch buffet. It's a big spread of Indian, Asian, vegetarian and non vegetarian choices, wide range of salads, live pasta counter, chaat, unending desserts selections. Mocktails complementary.
It has a good ambience. The buffet spread is good. The service also is good. There is a good variety of dishes. The Chinese food momos, noodles, starters tastes good. Thai curry also was yummy.
The dessert section is quite good. The waffles with maple syrup and ice cream was delicious.
Variety of cakes and Indian sweets were lovely.
Even the Pan (beetle leaf) chat variety was very tasty. I had it for the first time.
One has the option to sit in the garden for eating.
It is quite conveniently located in BKC.
Came here yesterday for a Sunday brunch with my family and I absolutely loved it
We are a family of five adult and a kid and the buffet caters to everyone's likes and taste. From salad, to sushi to grills to live Appam counter to lobsters to pork chops we ate everything and liked everything
They have a mascot roaming around which keep the kids busy also they have a bar and a kids section were my little one was occupied and we could enjoy our meal. Staff are courteous and service is excellent.

This actually is the dining hall or the restaurent housed in Sofitel Hotel Bandra Kurla Complex Mumbai. Always welcoming staff there for visitors. Food is simply amazing with a very wide varieties of delicacies with tasty deserts also.
The food and buffet are spectacular here, and the service is attentive. The Indian entrees, especially fish and lamb curries, lemon pickles and desserts are not to be missed. They even served me this special dessert when I told them it was my last day in Mumbai. ❤️ I hope to return soon.

I have been coming to Sofitel for years now and pre 2018 the buffet spread was really nice classy and was worth the indulgence but now finally after a good 5 years can I say they are back with a bang. The food and the desserts where really yummy. The service is back to its very best shout out for Tanmoy , Tushar and Gaurav. They really made the evening special.
