When the order was placed I had placed a special request that the garlic chicken and chicken pot rice should be spicy but it turned out to be sweet. I call the restaurant to inform them about my request and they confirmed that the will take care of my request but it was really disappointing that the food was to sweet, I always prefer dine in but due to this lockdown people aren't able to step out to have their favorite food hence the order food online but the foods taste is not up to the mark, it Din't fell that the food was worth paying😠

Now that i have dined over here so many times with my family i can tell you everything in detail . They have amazing starters and few months back this restaurant introduced a new starter called albaik chicken . Guys this starter sells like hot cakes because its a must try crunchy chicken served with a mayo dip. The staff is well trained to give you the best advice about which dish to order as per your preferences. Sheekh kabab tastes nice but they serve only two sheekh kababs thats a bit disappointing. Chicken nargesi and chicken patiala tastes really good . They serve the best naan . Its really soft and i must say your view point about naan will completely change. All restaurant chefs should come to jafferbhai's and observe how authentic naan is supposed to be prepared . Order naan it goes really well with gravy dishes . For biryani i wasnt satisfied with the quality of rice they use . Its not long grain basmati rice. Basmati rice gives biryani dishes an amazing flavour and texture . Chicken biryani was fine but do try the egg biryani it wont disappoint you. One might underestimate it but it tastes better than chicken biryani .

This is a must visit for all food enthusiasts. It has multiple outlets spread throughout the city, so it won't be much of a problem to drop into any outlet and savour a steaming hot plate of biryani and chicken tandoori. Their Mughlai Dishes are to die for. Especially the Chicken Tandoori!
Well this is a place known for its biryani.
But I will like to mention there starters are too great and I found the biryani OK and nothing great in its taste.
Caramel custard is good and the tandoori chicken is really well cooked and marinated
This place is hyped because of Biryani it offered. I have tried its egg biryani..must say the masala is delicious, with each Rice separated They porviide Half Biryani/few starters, so one can avoid food wastage.
They dont provide Curd raita as an accomplishment with Biryani, it needs to be ordered separately.
Dont forget to have their Caramel Custard, its heavenly delightful with each bite. It just mels in to the mouth.

This place is the famous for the Mumbai's best Chicken Biryani. The place is located exactly opposite to the Gol masjid. I am visiting here since I was small. The chicken biryani is one of my favourite and their raita is literally awesome. The taste is super awesome. Their tandoori chicken is also good. The spices they use are really too good. Jaffer Bhai's is the Biryani king of Mumbai. His biryani is famous in mumbai.

This place is just amazing everytime you go there, never disappoints in the taste and the quality of food. If you plan for some flavourful non- veg food outings then it is a place surely worth visiting.
Some things i would recommend are Nalli Nihari, Paya, Mutton Biryani, Kheema you name it just authectic and true to its flavors. Although the dishes we ordered were Chicken Reshmi Kebab and Chicken Tikka Biryani.

Great tasty Biriyani and non veg dishes available. One of the oldest restaurant at Mumbai and it will be always crowded. They have dining areas both in the ground and first floor. Parking is an issue and worth for money. Definitely a place to have food when you are in Mumbai.

This was the first time I visited this place even that was not planned, we actually wanted to go to some other restaurant but by the time we reach there it was closed so owner of that restaurant only suggested we go to Jaffer Bhai's place as it was very close to this place. We haven't heard about this place before as we were a visitor in the city but my partner was glad that we ended up there as he got to eat tasty Biryani. Me being vegetarian I opted for just hot and sour soup which was okay in taste but this place seemed very famous in Mumbai as people kept coming with group of friends, family and they have 4 more outlets in other areas of Mumbai. Ambiance is decent and clean. Service was very nice.

It is nice place for Non-Veg Lovers but has very limited options for Veg. I would recommend to eat only Arabic cuisine and don't try any other options. We order Veg Paneer Acchari but it was not available and only other option was Panner tikka so we had to order Panner chilly dry from there chinese options but it was not worth it. It more like a Arabic dish trying to be a Wannabe Chinese Dish, it was that bad. Next we order Panner Tikka Biriyani it was good but the accompanying raita was too sweet. My Non-vegetarian friends had ordered Chicken Tikka & Chiken Biriyani & they said it tasted good. For desert we order Caramel Custard 🍮 but that too was ok. Overall I would say if you have never visited this place you should try once but will not go there again, atleast for Veg foods.

Taste was Good, but can't call it too exciting. The full plate was more than sufficient for 1 person, even on an empty stomach.
Was informed that Mughlai Mutton is their speciality wasn't able to order, as I went alone. Hopefully next time.
