My favourite place to eat and I love the chilly paneer dry over here it an always to try over here. But unfortunately this place has shut down.
Our mumbai darshan bus stopped here for mahalaxmi temple visit and lunch. We expected nothing good here but mysore masala and dahi batata sev puri were really tasty. Dosa was heavily stuffed and spicy.
Dahi batata sev puri was exceptional.
Sitting area is really congested. It's a budget eatery. And they don't have any digital payment option.
This place is a cheap option for food in Breachcandy area. It is a pure veg joint. Ambiance is like any other ordinary Udupi place. Food is clean, fresh. Dosas and Udupi items are good. Sabji dishes not so good.

Shree Sharada restaurant is super crowded during day time, its popular restaurant amongst Mumbai Darshan tourists who drop in for their lunch Thali after visiting Mahalaxmi Temple.
It's even popular for home delivery food options for the people residing in that area.
Ambiance is very okay of such kind of restaurants but they work very professionally so the service is super quick and quality n taste of food is decently good.
The Shetty's restaurants are always popular for their South Indian food and their special Pav Bhaji, so these were the main items I tried today......
Pav Bhaji
It's the best thing I had today, super tasty, the Bhaji is made live and served hot with 2maska pav.
Idli and Medu Wada
These were perfect at taste as I said their South Indian food is best to try here, but served very cold, though the sambhar served was hot.
I would have loved it if it was served hot as I love medu wada when properly crispy.
Butter Sada Dosa
Sada Dosa was nice and made very big, it was perfectly crispy and served hot with sambhar and coconut chutney.
It's hot sambhar served is very delicious but at the same time its coconut chutney is very okkk.
The Thali served here are very popular.
They have three Thali options
Delux Thali which is for 230rs serving you full fledged meal including sweet and everything.
Special Thali which is for 150rs is also as good as delux Thali, but it doesn't include sweet and one extra vegetable as in delux thali.
And last one is normal Thali which is around 100rs and its basic filling Thali.
This place have plenty of options to eat but selling it's all popular items mentioned above.
Hot Beverages to cold refreshment drinks are alot to choose from.
It has its some popular sugar free sharbat options too.
Overall it's a decent place, not meant to come over specially and try anything here, but yes if you there in this area for Mahalaxmi Maa Darshan and looking for some quick snack or filling meal at a good reasonable taste and price then this a good place to try 😊😋

Food is a little expensive, but quality is superb and outweighs the expense.
Try their Butter Toast and Pav-Bhaji!
South Indian cuisines are also great!
Good food and decent service tried Chinese fried rice
It's a small place to sit but friendly staff,if u hungry can try it out it's like shiv sagar
Just consistent always . Courteous staff and quick service in the true form. Everything is double spiced so keep that anti acid if handy if you are not fond of the chillies
A small udipi style restaurant which is not too pretty to look at, but the service is quick and the food is good, can't complain. The vada sambar, sabudana vada and batata vada, all are enjoyable. I especially like the coconut chutney served with it.
This place has such delicious food and a beautiful interior design. We were there when it was basically empty, so it was nice and calm and we had a nice lunch. The service was very good. This place is a bit pricier coming from Europe, but worth it!
#letsguide Running since a decades, Sun is now more emotions and comfort than food really. That familiar taste of the dishes from the same menu going on since years, is unmatched. The staff is friendly and offers to customise the dishes as per your taste buds. The service is quick and it's quite economical. We love coming here!
This place doesnt need a review ...absolutely legendary .. it still looks the same and the taste is the sameee... vegetarian north indian good yummmmm

Hara bhara kebab : it was well cooked and the taste was good ... the crust of the kebab was nice n crunchy ...and the filling nice n moist
Panner tikka masala: yummy ...
Panner butter masala : again super yumm flavourful and tasty
Veg kolhapuri : spicy chunky veggies ...and the gravy was good and nice ...
Malai kofta : really good should order
Masla padad : u cant go wrong with this ever
Sun Restaurant at breach candy is my favourite restaurant,food excellent , atmosphere is also nice n good,rich people used to come n having their lunch n dinner as well ,people from nearby takeaway the parcel from here ,
Whenever u go n plan to sun Restaurant do not miss to have kaju paneer ka sabji, veg,makhanwal.u also get Jain food but limited,previously they used to server Jain samosa,now they had stopp serving,but samosa is extra ordinary.
Sun is one of the best places to visit . I personally have been visiting this place since childhood and have not been disappointed a single time. The food is very good and the staff is also friendly.
Kaju paneer and phulka are the two high lights of this place! We usually accompany the same with namkeen Lassi! This restaurant is specifically known for its Kaju Paneer and the best part is that they have maintained the taste and quality till date! Costs around INR 1000 for two.
Going strong for over 60 years....this is an institution in Mumbai.... The place has been a meeting point for tips on stocks during the many boom & bust of equity markets that the city has experienced over the decades.

SO GOOD !!! I have literally been a customer here for almost two years now and this place never ceases to amaze me. If you are looking for some good authentic north indian food, do yourself a favor and visit this place ASAP
It's been there since 45-50 years here, now, and few of its dishes still carry the same taste. Maintained taste, food, quality.. Renovated quite many times but loses its ambience with patches on ceilings, walls, due to water seepage, which has never found a solution.
All marks for Veg cuisine maintained.
Visited this place for the first time. My wife and sister had visited about 20 years back. They've still maintained the quality after all these years
