Been here once only but the food was nice. Helped me find good breakfast in the old traditional way. Tomato chutney and sambhar was really good.
This place is located on the main road and one can easily choose it for a quick morning breakfast. It is reasonably priced and is a very good option for south Indian breakfast. I along with my friends tried Plain Uttapam, Onion Uttapam and Poori.
Onion Uttapam was the best of all,the chutney and sambhar provided were spicy and yummy.

Do not try noodles and fried rice stuff, paneer butter masala, paratha and pulka are worth your money hyderabadi biriyani is not that good but spicy and hot.
Located in busy circle. Straight opposite to the pothys. We ate vada items and tea. Both are good in taste. Descent price and good seating. Try this place when u are in pothys for shopping
Great place for snacks at almost anytime of the day, with wide range of options to choose from.The meals in the form of thalis are available at specific time of the day.Easy on pocket, overall good if someone wants to catch a quick meal.

Wasn't impressed much with hot chips as a brand in Chennai, but my experience in Puducherry is in complete contrast.
The service was a bit slow but it was compensated by the food quality. The south Indian snacks were piping hot and cooked in fresh oil. Other items(like chilly parotta) were also nice.
Better to go for good quality south Indian food
Tip: Do try the mini tiffin . Its sumptuous and is worth every penny.
Went couple of times with famil after big shoppie in pothys ..watermealon juice ,noodle,coffe ..idly ,and so on some okie .rate burst to cerdit in my card ..woosh...
Good breakfast options and the taste is also good except Poori. Seating is good and little spacious too. But food is expensive, hygiene is good. Mini tiffin and plain dosa are good.
The hotel is on the main road opposite to pothys. We had a mini breakfast here It cost 143 complete combos. They give payasa sweetness, dosa, Vada, Pongal, idli, two flavour chutney and sambar. It feels a little costly compared to other hotels. The food is tasty and good, The kitchen is clean and maintained.
On the main road and it's opened early morning by 7am or so.
Their Pongal and Red chutney combination is really good. Dosa and Vada were decent. Their sambar and white chutney were blank. Pondicherry having a great tamilnadu influence, I'm surprised to see how sambar can be blant.
None the less, red chutney makes up for it .
As others mentioned, price is a big high here .

Tasty food in the middle of the city with all veg variety self service quick service nice ambience
Good food and nominal charges. Few north indian options are there which are good. We tried Paneer and Phulka which was very nice.
Taste good but not great or full worth of money
Food is good, attractive and at relatively low priced. Wash room facility is good. A clean Wide spaced dining hall able to attract a customer for his next visit. Above all those, its management is customer friendly.
A good place to have some amazing breakfast meals . They serve the breakfast combo which is arround 150/- , the quality and quantity is amazing . Worth every bite . Clean and hygienic place to have breakfast .
Self service system . There are variety of teas and coffees to try out as per your taste buds .
Located at the centre of the market so travel and transport is easy . Rick stand is outside the restaurant so if you want to go somewhere transfer is available . They are a bit pricey so bargain and get a good deal .
