At the very first time I could find the better place for food than home ... It always feels good to have someone to warmly greet u ryt ,!! Exotic south Indian dishes at affordable price. The staffs are very welcoming and polite and the service is great. I had non veg meal combo, chicken biryani and mutton chap.
Loved the place. Best Kongu food in Pondicherry. Very friendly and courteous staff - special thanks to Mr. Madan Kumar for his food suggestions. We tried Kongu chicken dum biriyani and Kongu Milagu chicken masala which were really delicious.

We went there for dinner yesterday. It's a lovely restaurant and the best part is kid friendly. Been to some restaurant recently with my 02 yr old child. The staff gave some toys to engage the kid which is really appreciated. We had chicken dosa which was yummy. The parotta was superb, Veg noodles was average.I will come back for parotta and recommend people. Mr. Iruthayaraj was friendly to my kid.
A gem of a place and a must visit when in Pondicherry. Some of the nicest Indian dishes I have had on any visit to the country. The chicken momos were so tasty we ordered more and we were recommended to the chicken curry dosa which was very good. All of this in lovely surroundings and a reasonable price I will definitely be going back before I leave.

Visited this restaurant on 30-12-2018. Myself with my family which includes my elderly father and my two kids. Actually I looked for Anjappar chettinad in Google and found it's been changed to Kongu kitchen.
Clean place. Perfect ambience. Perfect for a family with kids to dine in.
Ordered fish meals, fried rice, fish finger, barota chicken pichi potathu, butter milk & lemon soda.
All tasted yummy.
Great hospitality. On seeing my kids enjoying the payasam that came along with meals. The waiter and lady in charge, gave 4 extra cups of payasam and Kamarkattu chocolate to my kids.
It's a hardcore non vegetarian place with rabbit on the menu, but we managed to get pretty good vegetarian food here. The place is clean and pristine with excellent service. We loved the paneer butter masala , veg pulao , phulkas and cucumber-onion raita. It's not expensive either so good place to go for lunch/dinner.
A new experience. Great taste, friendly staffs and mouthwatering foods. I tried chicken Dosa along with pallipalayam chicken. When compared to other south Indian cuisine, here their foods are less spicy, an advantage for the tourist and foreigners who are looking for such food.
The place is sparkling clean. The service at this place was superb. We got great suggestions from the staff who introduced us to idiyappams and meat dosas. The food tasted great and we will be back again. Loved the kongu food.
I wish to thank everyone involved in the preparation and presentation of our meal on Christmas evening. It was exceptional in every way and added so much to our enjoyment of what was a double Christmas celebration.

We had been to Pondy and visited Kongu kitchen for lunch
Their season special kola urundai was awesome,turkey roast,duck masala unbelievable taste, idiyappam Attu kal paya were too delicious. Especially kongu style Kollu rasam served here is excellent. It was awesome food I ever had...
Discovered the kongu Kitchen for the first time, and I was surprised to see the different varieties of dishes they are proposing and of excellent quality and taste. As I am coming from abroad, I didn't even know that these varieties of food does exist in South Indian kitchen. Really worth trying and you will not be deceived. I recommend this restaurant to everyone for good and tasty food.The service is excellent. From now onwards this will be my favourite restaurant.

We had been to kongu kitchen restaurant yesterday, since it was a Saturday and crowded the staffs asked us to give them 15mins time for keema coin parotta and vazhai ilai parotta and was served within time

We went to Kongu kitchen with family for a dinner. The staff very polite and receptive. We ordered multiple dishes starting from my favourite Lemon Coriander Chicken soup. The dishes were served in very good time and taste was awesome. Both my sons had a great time tasting the yummy dishes. One of the best restaurant to taste authentic Kongu cusiine...
We had dinner here with kids and parents. The non-veg starters and veg starters, dosas, mutton coin parota, chicken parota, idiyappam was very good. My family liked the food. The staff members behaviour was also appreciable. Overall, very nice experience.
