Today I was in rush for office so I've order Idli chutney and upma at my office from Sundaram Idli from camp area which is nearby my college i.e my office.Service was within time but I didn't like the the packaging which was covered with paper tied by thread.But I likedthe Idli was packed in eco friendly leaves packaging from inside like tipical south indian they serve in leave taste was awesome at of both Idli chutney easily melt in mouth it gaves authentic taste.I didn't like the upma packaging upma was scattered everywhere inside the packaging but I liked upma taste perfectly cooked with minimal authentic spices easily melts in mouth.Quality and quantity was good worth the price.Very Affordable only packaging was the issue otherwise everything was good.

Owner is humble and always follow instruction for delivery n packing. Always serves hot idlis n wadas. Loves the red chutney which is the speciality of this foodstop. Authentic taste !! One can enjoy South Indian menus under best budget. 5 stars people. Keep it up !!

Love this place, the chatni is the best. I think this is the best south indian food. Never eaten there I always do take outs. Vade is also good.

South Indian snacks legacy since 35+ years.. Few places does not need Ambience, not even sitting.. They grow on their strength, Quality ! Tried Idli , Meduvada, Sambhar, Upma each item super delicious.. Pocket friendly place..
Fried Idli (फ्राइड इडली) at Sundaram Idli House ( सुंदरम इडली हाउस ) is one of the must try street food in Pune.
Sundaram Idli House ( सुंदरम इडली हाउस ) is 35 years old small shop : totally Value for Money(VFM) which serves authentic tamil snacks.
Previously they use to sell idli's at Mandai Market but because of huge demand from last 25-30 years they just sell at Kashiwadi.
Menu is very short : Fried idli, Steam Idli , Medu Wada , Pohe & Dosa : Everything price between 20-25 Rs.
We Tried :
- Mix Idli (Fried idli + Steam Idli)
- Medu Wada
- Upma
- Pohe
Fried Idli & Medu Wada is must try.
Sambar : is typical Tamilian style
Red Chutney : Lasun & Tomato chutney is just amazing
Coconut Chutney : is also good.
Note :
- Sambar is very different then shetty style.
- Crowded early morning and over weekend
Lovely, authentic and above all, it's value for money. Best breakfast one can have if you are in this part of city! Don't remember how long they are there, but ever since the taste is consistent.:-)
SAMBAR IS THE KING OF SOUTH INDIAN DISHES and there is a best sambar of maharashtra .The idli is too good and wada is fab..... IDLI FRY AND POHA is my favourite wid sambar and lal chatni .THEY PROVIDE BEST SOUTH INDIAN FOOD ALL OVER MAHARASHTRA .....IT IS JST FABULOUS.....!!!!!!!!!!!

Highly recommend for a quick, tasty breakfast, even if it's a stand-and-eat or take-away experience
Soft and hot idlis delivered. Their Red spicy chutney is the best and goes well with Idli and Wada. Every time I order, instruction were properly followed by the owner while packing. Sambhar taste needs to improve, it tastes more like a ordinary rasam rather than south blend Sambhar. Wadas are very crispy and less oily. Chutney portion was enough for 3 members.

The best place for breakfast or brunch. Only Takeaway is there. They serve. Idli and medu Vada with coconut chutney, sambhar and red chutney. The red chutney contains garlic while the coconut chutney and sambar is jain.
Hidden gem in this area for south indian food. Idli & Wada Fry were really good. Quite crowded but worth it.

Here you will get good taste of idly vada poha in morning to lunch .they serve good quality & good quantity food with very clean & delicious.here you can dine in & take away the food .price also very reasonable only. here you will get very taste of chutney & sambar which is similar as south india .
Amazing chutney taste never found anywhere else
Crispy medu wada and melting hot upma are my favorites here. The best part is the taste of the chutney they serve.
Though the locality is very shabby and you have to stand & eat, it is still one of my favorites!
