This place is a very good place with quite a ambience to have dinner with friends, family.
Service is good by every waiter and food is served on time
They even have heaters on every time so that a person should not feel cold in the season
We ordered:
Paneer butter masala
Dal makhani
Butter roti
Paneer was not that upto mark but dal was good and eatable.
Love the coffee, south indian food :) must try masala dosa , vada sambar and chowmin with GARLIC sauce and dry chilly paneer .. it is YUM!! The sizzlers are a hit too..
Nalini is one of the best Restaurant in shimla on the mall road near main Lift. Food is delicious and must try dishes is Dosa + Veg Thali (adorable taste) sambhar was above average. Nalini is good for pure veg eating place on mall.Staff is ok and service is also good.
Year old trusted taste. Comfort food while traveling back from the ridge. Right amount if everything makes the dishes extraordinary.
And there gulab jamun is the bitter cold is a must try.

Good restaurant at the Mall...has ample sitting area... Gets rushed during peak hours easily which can impact service a bit but the overall staff behaviour and food taste make up for it... Rates may seem a bit on the higher end but quantity served can feed up to 4 persons. Paneer butter masala was for Rs 395 but quantity was enough for 4 people. The taste was amazing like at home.

I am a South Indian , and from bangalore and here in Shimla I found decent idli as my daughter was sick here 😋 aloo paratha was also good , coffee was very good !

I think coming from a North Indian cook this idli & sambar was too good 👍 recommend others to try .. service was quick , friendly staff , clean dining area & clean washroom
i think idli recipe could be perfected a little bit.. and probably try other chutneys like peanut wala , onion tomato wala as they didn't make coconut chutney so good, also i think there is weather restrictions and coconut is expensive for them in Himachal pradesh
Highly highly overpriced and very bad attitude of shop keeper. Food is fantastic but very overpriced like fine dining rates. Waiters and owner are rude and arrogant

The best thing here is the good sitting place. After you get tired after roaming on the mall road, you can rest and catch your breath.
Food is reasonably priced; Coffee is excellent.
