And the overall experience was good the proportion to prize ratio is fair enough, the staff was also good but still giving it 4 stars because of the taste, it was not up to the mark for me being a Maharashtrian.
Samudra is surely a hidden gem in thane. The quality is top notch. Went here for dinner and the service and food is top notch.
About the food:
1- Chicken zhumka- Chicken lollipop with crisp taste.
In mains- Pomfret tawa fry and naan- Great taste.
In dessert- Gulab jamun: Decent enough.
Quite good restaurant overall.
Samudra restaurant is surely a top quality restaurant in regards of the coastal variety they have.
The staff makes sure you have the best seat, is at your service at the earliest. Went here with my friend and not at all disappointed.

In drinks- Tom Collins- The taste was better.
In starters:
1- Surmai tawa fry- The crispy Surmai was surely a great starter to have.
2- Chicken Zhumka- the tandoori lollipop with perfect taste and spice balance.
In mains,
1- Chicken Lapeta- The chicken was thoroughly cooked and the spice balance, flavours, taste were Excellent.
In desserts-Gulab jamun- Hot gulab jamun were the perfect treat to have to end your meal and the taste didn't disappoint.
Overall I'll surely recommend. Good class!!!!

Madam X ~ It has kiwi and kush flavors which is sweet and refreshing drink.
Chicken Lapeta ~ It was Suka chicken which goes well with neer dosa.
Strawberry Colada ~ It was strawberry juice which has strawberry crush and vanilla ice-cream in it.
Prawns Biryani ~ Biryani was in green color. It has lot of spices and good flavors in each bite. Prawns are properly cooked and fresh.
Pompret Fry ~ Pompret was grilled in tandoor which is properly cooked. Fish was soft.
Chocolate Ice-cream ~ It has chocolate chips in it. Ice-cream was so creamy and yummy.
Sizzling Brownie ~ Brownie was soft and delicious.

Chicken Banjara Kebab ~ Kebab was hot and tasty. They served it with mint chutney.

Gimlet - It was a litchi drink, loved it taste and colour.
Blue on - It was an usual mocktail blue in colour.
Chicken Malwani Tawa - Chicken was chopped into square piece and were marinated with malwani masala and served.
Prawns Koliwada - Prawns were fried, there were 8-10 pieces and were served with green chutney.
Chicken Triple Schezwan Rice - The quantity of this rice is great. It can easily serve 2-3 people.

The ambiance of this place is perfect for casual dining.
They have rooftop, AC, non-Ac And private chambers perfect for serving wide range of customers.
In mocktails, the strawberry colada and sherly temple are most recommended Mocktails. Among them strawberry colada was very refreshing and my personal favorite. 😍
In starters, Chicken Rojali and Chicken Malwani Tawa were top notch. The chicken rojali had keema stuffed in chicken whereas the chicken Malwani tawa was cooked in authentic Malwani masala's.
In sea food section we tried Kolambi Hirwa Narli Pulao which had very fresh and delicious Kolambis😍
In desserts, my personal favorite is sizzling brownie with ice cream was very yummy 😍

In starters, we tried Chicken Malwani Tawa which was well Marinated in Corriander and Malwani masala's.
We also tasted Chicken Roojali Kabab it was stuffed chicken with very delicious chef's secret kheema.
The quantity is quite large in starters and worth the money.
In main course, the Kolambi Hirwa Narli Pulao had authentic Malwani taste with very delicious Malwani masala's.

I have been to this place with my sis to try their malvani food and it was damm delicious 😋
Specially Bhatti ka murgh i loved it and i would love to have it again and again and main course was super delicious.
I had tried murgh tikka masala and it was so mouth watering with butter naan.

We decided to go here due to their specialty in sea food. They have differ kind sittings and we opted for the ac section but they have non ac and rooftop also.
Ambience and decor is very nice and the staff is also very good in terms of suggesting what is speciality.
I would like to thank Priyanka who was the captain that time and guided us through the menu.
We ordered -
A] Mocktail/Cocktail -
1] Blue On - it's very blue colored mocktail with lemonde and some blue lagoon in it (5/5).
2] Gimlet - so it is made of gin and some like juice and it was quite good (5/5).
B] Starters -
1] Paneer Hunan Dry - it was quite tasty the paneer hunan had some kind of gravy which was perfect with paneer chunks (5/5).
2] Prawns Tandoori - it was the best tandoori prawns I have tried. Quality and quantity both were top class (5/5).
C] Main Course -
1] Chicken Lapeta - it was like chicken sukha best dish at samudra we had this with butter roti....must try (5/5).
D] Deseerts -
1] Sizzling Brownie - this dish I order where ever I go and it never disappoints me (5/5).
2] caramel custard - the custard was quite soft and delicious (5/5).
So if you are a seafood lover u must try samudra family restaurant which is in lousewadi thane.
Its a decent place. not the best in sea food in Thane. Ppl generally visit here as they also serve alcohol in bottle system along with decent food. Taste may not be the best but its decent. Prices are also fine.
This place is located at Pach pakhadi service road which is just 15 min from thane railways station.

Being not a huge fan of Malvani food still I took this risk to try Malvani hotel and I really loved the taste only because of their rich spices which they used.
Most recommended dish will be Murgh musallam or murgh tikka and any Afghani chicken is super delicious 🤤

A Meshmering Restaurant
Not a big but a small but an amazing restaurant located here in the Heart of Thane called as Samudra. I would really recommend to all those people who are a biggest lover of Malvan and Indian home made style food. Here we visited on our week days just to check out the restaurant which is very near to our place. From outside it looks normal but the internal space is big with floor plus one design.
The quality they serve is awesome.
We order lots of dishes one by one. All the items were totally loaded with a good amount taste and even looking good and uniquely designed.
However we ate a lot of dishes below will be the pictures of those dishes.
Overall ambiance is quite nice.
Staff is good.
Area is also good.
Service is fast.
Quantity is way better.
Quality is superb.
Overall lovely place to visit for everyone within an affordable price range. Recommended to all.
I visited this place for lunch yesterday with mom.
Place is very spacious and perfect for Office parties,Group dinners.
We ordered:
1. Surmai Tawa Fry :
Surmai was of very decent size, tawa fried Served fresh (that's most imp).
Served with Salad, lemons and onions.
2. Rawas tikka :
Very well cooked more on spicy side and tasted very fresh.
3. Shanghai Shimmer :
Cheery with sprite - more on sweeter side very refreshing. Also very good looking.
4. Parrots song :
This was very strong and spicy.
5. Kombadi vade with Chicken masala:
Kombadi vade are so close to my heart and they were perfect. Very soft and tasty.
Chicken would have been more on spicy side I would have been perfect.
6. Sizzling Brownie with Icecream :
Not the best brownie I have tasted but it was okay.
7. Butterscotch Icecream :
Hands down this was perfect and best end to a wonderful meal.

Samudra Restaurant n Bar, this place can be easily locatable from the road, been there for afternoon lunch session n the place didn't disappointed at all.
Ambience : This place is typical fine dine restaurant, so they have comfortable sofa and table seating. Place has 3 section as they host different type of guest like family, office crowd n party ppl.
This place is Restaurant and Bar so they do serve variety of mocktail n cocktail and yes Good sea food.
Drinks : I tried white rum base Pinacolada and Strawberry Pinacolada.
Starters : PRWANS IN HOT GARLIC were too good in tatste. POMFRET TANDOORI this dish was well marinated and the spices in it was just perfect.
MainCourse : As they're also specialise in Maharashtrian food we tried their Malwani Chicken with Neer Dosa the perfect combination to go.
In rice we ordered Prwans Biryani which were less spices but well cooked and tastier both the dishes was ordered by us was half but the portion of half itself was bigger in size.
Dessert : And we winded up with the Good Scoop of Butter Scotch n Chocolate Ice Cream.
So had an amazing experience here, this place is good to visit with friends , family and colleagues.

Samudra is restaurant on Service Road of EEH. It is a three storey affair. The ground floor is best left to partying gents. The first floor has well done interiors and is a cosy place to be. It also has two small chambers where around 15-20 people can be accommodated and hence suitable for small get together or parties. The second floor is covered terrace and is big place with relaxing atmosphere. This is also given for large parties.
Though the name is Samudra, ample variety & cuisines of seafood are available, so are the mutton & chicken dishes. You have a variety of cuisines and the taste though nothing special, is always authentic. The food is always tasty.
The best part is service and you are attended properly.Also the staff is well trained and attends to all need appropriately.
