The special shawai available is unique in its masala but as matter of criticaly analysing, i would rather say that the portion size is bit less compared to other shawai available in well known hotel.otherwise its awesome
I was on a trip to kerala when I came across this restaurant. We were coming back from kovallam and ended up having dinner here.
I loved how the staff here was very polite and even though we were full of sand(we came directly from the beach) they didn't treat us differently. We were offered seats and then we ordered the food.
As far as the vegetarian food is concerned, I had my mom say that she was completely satisfied because she had a proper meal after a few days. For non vegetarians, I was not much amazed by the Singaporean chicken. I guess you don't have to experiment all the time. But the shawaya was a boom! It took the limelight. I had heard a lot about shawaya and I wanted to try it and this happened to be our first place to do so. It was amazing.
The reason I am rating them 4 is because of the ambience, staff and shawaya!
First of all, the taste of al faham was good. Mushroom fried rice and mushroom gobi were tooo gud. Chicken lolipops were magnificent. Desserts were sooo good that I want 't again.
An old favourite of mine - this is my go to place for Chinese food, grill items, Porotta etc... their chilli beef is really yummy and I haven’t found a replacement even though I live in Bangalore.

Salwa Dine has been in the eatery map of every one in Trivandrum. It's really inside the city, very close to Shastamangalam traffic circle. Near quite a lot of govt offices and business areas. So parking for cars can be quite challenging but bikes will fit in quite well.
I have been going there since my school days so i can vouch one thing. Although their dishes are not out of the world amazing extra-ordinary, they certainly won't fail you. Also it's that place which serves a decent wheat porotta. For those who like Wheat Dosa, it's a healthy alternative to the usual maida porotta.
What I like about them is their affordable combos. Their combos are really nice and quite filling. Starting from single serving combos to family range. Their shawayyia is also worth mentioning, unlike the regular shawayyia theirs is really marinated and cooked well. You won't see the half cooked chicken here. Overall if you are hoping for an amazing dining experience it's not recommended but for a decent meal that won't hurt this place is certainly in the list. They also have an A/C dining area upstairs for families (if you manage to park your car).
Chicken biryani not good as nearby buraq..Arabian chicken items like shawai and alfaham are good.
The chairs are little uncomfortable unlike other hotels..
Food is pretty good. The seating is decent. The major issue to come here is parking. Take aways and Home deliveries are most recommended from salwa.
A nice restaurant in Vellayambalam. The food was good. The customer service was also okay. The atmosphere is fine. Parking space can be a problem. The price was okay, can't say budget friendly though. The place accepts UPI payments.
Very good restaurant at trivandrum, vellayambalam... Must try items like dragon chicken and mutton biriyani.rates are affordable.. The main issue is parking..
It was very helpful that we get dinner at 11 PM it was too late but they served the food .And it was good. Late night dinner is affordable there.

We had Shawai from here as our friend suggested Salwa dine to us.. The total atmosphere was good and the interiors were also commendable.. I even liked the fruit salad that they gave with the dish.On the whole the service was also good.
It's a popular nice place to be ,in trivandrum city. Not crowded as time ,so pretty good ATMOSPHERE tmosphere, service is nice , foods good as all other restaurants. General pricing for food.

Had a great experience at the restaurant. Food was impeccable. Boneless butter chicken and Dinamite chicken is my absolute favourite.entire team was really helpful and courteous. Will definitely be back again.
