"Looks can be deceiving" (it was funny as when i searched for it in google even the example was on the looks of a restaurant which can be deceiving, may be google knows me too much🤣) or "dont judge a book by its cover" were just couple of inumerous lessons i learned during my different food explorations... .
why all these here? Flashback⏪ So i have passed through this place multiple times but thought on giving it a try the next time and it went on... ▶️and on one fine day i decided to give it a try... got into the place and sat... well 10 could be a crowd here i said to myself....well who cares let the food come... heard the chicken fry and chapathi was good here but if there is porotta how can i say no😬... in comes the chicken fry and porotta and it was not water oh lime juice thats good... the chicken hit me with a olakka as why i did not try all those times i said i will🤪... it was tender, hot ,juicy and ticked all boxes to be a repeater well i did repeat the order and the masala was enough to go with the porotta along with the juicy chicken... the service was so good and deserve a appreciation...

If u are not so keen on the lavish ambience, large spaces , long bills but on good chicken fry you can definitely give a try on "Trivandrum Chicken Corner" i was mentioning about..

നിങ്ങൾ തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തിന്റെ തനത് ചിക്കൻ പൊരിച്ചത് കഴിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ ആ തനത് മസാലയുടെ രുചി അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ടോ ഉറപ്പായും വീട്ടിലെ വെളിച്ചെണ്ണയിൽ പൊരിച്ച കോഴിയും ചപ്പാത്തിയും പണ്ടത്തെ 60 - 90 കളിലെ താര വിഭവമായിരുന്നു ഇത് . ഇന്നും പഴമക്കാർക്ക് ചപ്പാത്തിയും ചിക്കനും ഒരു കോമ്പോ ഡിഷ് എന്ന് പറയാൻ കാരണം ഇത് പോലുള്ള രുചിയിടങ്ങൾ ഇവയെ അവിസ്മരണീയമാക്കിയത് കൊണ്ടാണ് . വർഷങ്ങളായി കൈമാറി വന്ന ആ മസാല കൂട്ട് തെല്ല് വ്യത്യാസം ഇല്ലാതെ ഇന്നും ഇവിടെ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് വരുന്നു , ഒരു ദിവസത്തേക്ക് ഉള്ള ഇറച്ചി രാവിലെ തന്നെ വാങ്ങി സ്റ്റോക്ക് ചെയ്യുന്നില്ല 3 - 4 നേരം വെച്ച് വെട്ടി വാങ്ങി കൊണ്ട് വരുന്നത് കൊണ്ട് എപ്പോൾ ചെന്നാലും സംഗതി ഫ്രഷ് തന്നെ പിന്നെ എടുത്ത് പറയേണ്ടത് ഇവിടത്തെ അടുക്കള NO Admission ബോർഡ് വച്ച് ആർക്കും വിലക്ക് നൽകുന്നില്ല കഴിച്ച ആഹാരത്തിന്റെ ഉത്ഭവം കണ്ട് മനസിലാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യാം .
തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തിന്റെ ഈ രുചി 4 ഓളം ജില്ലകളിൽ ഔട്ട് ലറ്റ് മുഖേന ലഭ്യമാക്കാനും ഇവർക്ക് സാധിച്ചു .കുടുതൽ ദീർഖിപ്പിക്കുന്നില്ല ദേവസ്വം ബോർഡ് & പരിസരത്ത് പൊരിച്ച കോയീന്റെ മണം അടിച്ചാൽ അത് ഇവിടെ നിന്നാണ് എന്ന് ഉറപ്പിച്ചോ
