We had eaten at Sankalp in Mumbai earlier and had loved our experience. So decided to try it at Baroda as well. Needless to say, we were not at all disappointed. The food was really delicious. The idlis were soft and fresh. The Rawa onion dosa was one of the best we’ve ever eaten... loaded with lots on onions, coriander and jeera. Rasam and filter coffee were also good. The curd rice, however, was a bit too cold and slightly sour. But they replaced it with another dish as soon as we brought it to their attention. So service also gets a thumbs up. The paan that they serve at the end of the meal is always an added incentive.
There is no better place than this for authentic and mouth watering South Indian food ! Usually I order idli- vada, one Mysore masala dosa and one cold coffee but I’ve tried the other things too and they all are as tasty but Mysore masala is a win-win for me! Very awesome, clean and calm place.
What I ordered-
Rasam idli - even though i was craving plain idli ao that i could dip it in sambhar and chutney,
i also was craving something spicy hence ended up ordering these and who licked till the last? Me!!! Everything from idli and the rasam, everything was so darn good!
Triple dosa- since one dosa is never enough, ordered these and filled our tummies with all the goodies for 3 times! :p
Here the restuarant is very good place but very costly but you pay you get quality and best food and Authentic south Indian Here the place is very good

Even theirs masala dosa and onion rava dosa also good .
Sankalp is a udipi restaurant chain and they spread their business across India and even other countries too. So my guest from USA want to eat something light . They choose to go Sankalp cos they are very familiar with this restaurant and they trust this place and their food.
As we tried so many different varieties of dosa’s and we are satisfied with their service, food quality and quantity too.

Been with friends had good experience with dosa but topd staff two time plz give me hot sambhar but they didnt servr me hot. They just give iy back as it was before. Dosa yas tasty
Tried masala dosa and paneer dosa, masala dosa was great, paneer dosa is just fine.. ambience is good
Staff is also well behaved and nice.. the place is quiet good and nice.
I was travelling to Vadodara with parents and looking for a safe vegetarian eating place at the end of the day. Sankalp, I believe is an Udipi reataurant chain and thus selected thia place as a safe option for south indian food.
The food was fantastic as expected but still rating it at 4 star. We ordered Idli, Dosas, Uttapas and Medu vada which was all fine except Medu Vada. I am sure that would also have been a fantastic serving on a regular day but it was obviously not made of Medu Bada batter for our order.
Appreciate the restaurant staff for not saying no to our order at the end of the day even after probably have run out of the batter. But not rating a full 5 star as what they served did not match up to the quality and taste.
After a long time I visited sankalp again, but the taste was awesome and same....authentic southindian food in gujju style...and thats wht a gujju likes...its malgapudi chatni is good.they dont serve it if u hvnt ask for it, so do ask for that yummy malgapuri chatni
The food we ordered was kerrai dosa, chettinad dosa and kurmura masala dosa with lemon lime soda in the beverage and brownie and vanila.the place is must for south indian food.
It is good South Indian restaurant however Sambar is okay. Service is good , we visited Sunday morning so less people and get decent service.
Restaurant was kept neat & clean with maintained hygiene. Staff was polite. Food had authentic sankalp South Indian taste. Ample parking available outside.
Food was awesome and suitable for south indians who want authentic and for someone who wants something fancy in dosa.

The best part about South Indian food is the freshness and non spicy taste ..Sankalp is undoubtedly maintained the same...Service and atmosphere of this restaurant is good...The notable part about this restaurant is the utensils not sure but some high quality metal...And the unique thing at the end they offer is the pan... Favorite restaurant for South Indian food in Vadodara. Ordered a delivery (crisp dosa and medu vada) via Zomato. Food's great as always, neat and clean packing. Loved it.
