Idli in Sambhar, Sambhar Vada
Kachori and Jalebi's are quite expensive but they are worth it. Staffs are really helpful and polite as well. It's quite crowded on weekends.

They Do Not Have A Large and Varied Menu, but whatever stuff they offer it is by far the best. Primarily Four Main Items --- Dosa, Idli, Uttapam and Vadas. Preparation is strictly Without Onion and Garlic.
Couple of Variations of Dosas and Uttapams, for instance Cheese Uttapams and Cheese and Paneer Dosas.
Service is Quick. Seating Area is bit small. Best part is that whatever they are earning, it is directly going to ISCKON Temple Trust..

Govindas restaurant is located in the ISKCON Temple campus at Gurudham Crossing in Varanasi. The temple has a fine guest house ( its under renovation and improving a lot). In the restaurant the Food is prepared in home style and without onion and garlic. It has an ice cream parlour as well which sells a specific Indian brand ice creams. Seating is outdoor but covered. Ambience is nice and peaceful.
Onion-Garlic free food can also comes your mouth watery. Nice food having south indian food as an option and special veg thali is the most popular one.
This is closed during COVID time and did not opened after that. Why can't Google update it even after reporting by others
I won't say that the food is excellent but it's good for the price, I mean at this price point, you won't find another place with such good South Indian food along with a good dinning space.
It's not very crowded place that's why I liked it. Not much variety in menu but whatever is served is good.
Nece place to bring your family and childs.
